So I have just recently started going to Coldstone and this location was the very first one I tried. With my previous experiences with Coldstone I was extremely excited to take someone there for their first time tonight. When we walked on it was 1 person waiting on their ice cream. So I took that time to explain to the person I brought in what they could pick and the portion and what not. So we finally got served 15 mins later. So they say they want vanilla ice cream with pecans and almonds. Well Mostafa gets the vanilla ice cream tells us he only has walnuts and heath bar but we are looking at pecans, almonds and walnuts. I say that is false advertisement and the person goes it’s ok I will just take this with walnuts. And the other guy goes it’s first come first serve so when we are out we are out. So I ask Mostafa “do you have everything needed to make an Apple Pie A La Coldstone?” He looks up at the board to see the ingredients and says yes. I proceed to say may I have the Apple Pie A La Coldstone as a milkshake and Mostafa starts to fix it and as he goes to put the apples in he looks at me and he doesn’t have enough apples. I said I just asked you and you said yes you had enough ingredients to make it. He was like well it’s like 2 apples I said no that’s not enough that is not what I asked for nor going to pay for. I will pay for this other one even though that should be discounted because you lied about that too. I also told them they need to ask people what their order is before they start making it. Then I asked to give my number for rewards with my rewards in my hand on my phone and he says you have to put that in before you pay. Very rude and unprofessional the atmosphere was not the same as it was when I first went tried Coldstone last year. I placed a order online at 8:02pm app and confirm email says order will be ready by 8:19pm. I arrive at 8:22pm. There are two customers in the store one at the register paying and one waiting to order. I informed the Employee I ordered online he shrugged his shoulders and walked off. 1st mistake, moving on.... the young lady waiting said "make her's she ordered first." The employee stated and I quote "She has a big order" and waived his hand in motion as to say my order was too much to even attempt. I said excuse me did you just say my order was too big it is 2 cups of ice cream. He went on to make the other young lady's order. The customer apologized to me like it was her fault no it is entirely an ill-trained employees fault.The store went empty he still did not start on my order then in walked 5 more guest. I said excuse me it has been 30 minutes and my order is still not started his reply was there are customers in store. I ordered far beyond the scope of when said customers entered the store it has now been 40 mins. I said at this point provide me with a refund and I will call corporate he says well I can make them if you want. WHAT, this is something you should have done 45 mins ago. 50 min for ice-cream is completely unacceptable period. The staff is lazy ill-trained and acts like it took everything in them just to be present. Read moreI had a terrible experience today! I took my son the get ice cream because we love ice cream and I go to Cold Stone every time I want great ice cream after work in Winston Salem. Well, I went to this one and was highly disappointed! I ordered the Strawberry Blonde for my son, in the size 'Love it'. The lady was rude when I told her I wanted extra Graham crackers and stated, "it already comes with it!" So I told her I could get a free add in. She rolled her eyes. She made the ice cream and it was a small size, it didn't even fill up the top of the waffle cone. I said, " mam that's not what I ordered, I ordered the love it." She told me to stop complaining and take the ice cream and then I will love it!! I said what did you say?!! She told me, "here, take it, it is what you ordered!" My son looked so surprised and I told her I pay a lot for this! So for my ice cream order, she forgot the pecans I wanted for mine. She added them but it was a lot to ask according to her attitude. I will never step foot in your company at this address again. She was rude and didn't portray good customer service skills. I told my son not to talk to customers that way when he gets a job, he just graduated high school yesterday and is looking for a job. This is how not to act!! I wish I had left the ice cream there! The shorter lady employee just kept her back turned and didn't say anything. This was the worst...
