I don't like leaving bad reviews at all. But this was the worst bbq me and my daughter and grandson has ever had in my whole entire life. The ribs were hard as a rock and dry as dust. The BBQ chicken was dry. The baked beans were tasteless. The Cole slaw was tasteless. The French fries were old and hard. The hushpuppies were old and burnt. I couldn't eat it. It ended up in the trash. I don't understand how anyone can really mess up a whole meal like this. I love BBQ and all the fixings it came with. But this place needs a new cook for sure. After spending over $70. I was so desterbed that this place had such great reviews. I would never recommend this place to anyone. When I picked up my food. I was greeted nicely. But the place needs more considerate people and definately a cook who knows how to make good BBQ and all the sides. I'm not a wasteful person. But I couldn't eat or enjoy this meal at all. I did try. But I was so appalled at the meal really being disappointing in every way. I hope they find a cook that knows what they're doing. Bc the meals me and my daughter and grandson recieved tasted like it had been sitting for several days. And was not good at all. This BBQ is great, ask especially about the corse BBQ if you like a little back on your BBQ. The waitress was fantastic, she also works the line during breakfast and has been here for 18 years. She guided us through the menu and told us the best options, she recommended the chicken also saying it's fall off the bone juicy but I didn't have room left to try it. The have 2 options of sauce also for the sauce lovers, one thicker homemade BBQ sauce with a little spicy kick to it at the table already in a squirter bottle (good stuff) and the traditional carolina vinger base with the paper flake they bring to the table hot in a dipping cup. I eat BBQ all over and this is truly on of the juiciest BBQ meats I've ate besides at home when I smoke a butt myself but that's what I look for, a place that can cook like I do at home or better and this place is on point. It's a nice aromatic dinning room with lots of seating and a really traditional carolina BBQ restaurant feel, kind people that make you feel welcomed.
