The biggest thing that stands out to me about Mario's Pizza is their pizza. Literally, they have the biggest pizza slices! My husband ordered 2 slices for himself thinking it wouldn't be enough, but sure enough, he'd met his match. We got another for our daughter and they were nice enough to not only help us make a meal out of it to get her a drink but sliced it up into easy-to-eat bite-size pieces. I ordered baked ziti and was surprised by how large it was. It was generous considering the standard size I'm used to getting at other pizzerias. There was enough to share with my hubby the next day for lunch! Overall, I think it's a decent place to eat. We haven't had a bad experience with the taste or service, but wouldn't be my first choice compared to other pizza places near me in the Triad.

Mario’s Pizza has all the potential to become a great pizza place. Three years ago, when we moved to Greensboro, it was much better in terms of service and prices. I understand COVID has put additional costs on restaurants, and I’m ok with it, but I think that this particular restaurant just took advantage of the opportunity. The food has the right portions and looks and smells great, but the flavors are very lacking. But what really bothers me is the person working the register. Maybe she was having a bad day, but man, she had on a “I hate life” face that was very off putting. Overall, I am hoping they improve, so I will continue to return on occasion to see if they improve.

Every time I come here, it seems like the people who take your order have an attitude. Being from NJ, it is hard not to compare foods . The cheesesteak I give a 6 out of 10. I haven't had the pizza yet, but the sub was the worst sub I ever had in my life. First, it was heated! Who heat up an Italian sub. Then it had almost no meat on it, so I ordered a side of extra meat. When I bit it into it, I just decided not to eat it n throw it in the trash. I don't think I will be returning to this place.

To the Owner, My family (and HOA community of 150 for events) have purchased food from your Wendover location for over ten years. However, we (my family) will not be back!

On Fri, Dec 27th, 2024, around 6:30 pm, I walked up to the counter to get the pizza and wings I ordered and paid $78.00 for over the phone in advance. The lady at the register greeted me rudely and slid the pizza box in front of me. After which, she dropped the bag containing my wings on top of it. I asked her if she had given me my requested dressings. Without looking at me sarcastically, she said: "Everything's in the bag."

Because she was so nasty, I opened the bag to make sure. Discovering there were no other condiments, I asked for some. She rudely responded: "You have to ask for those if you want them." Things turned for me right then when she angrily grabbed a bag, filled it with the aforementioned, and slammed it on top of my box. Because she filled the bag out of frustration, she gave me more than I needed.

Not wanting to waste those condiments, I poured them out and put the access back in the bins within my reach. Choosing not to talk to her any longer, I asked another cashier if I could pay for two more dressings. That young lady handed me the dressings, and I gave her my dollar. The rude cashier said, "That'll be a dollar."

I looked at her and said: "I don't know what your problem is, but I don't appreciate your attitude. My family and I come here often and have never experienced anything like this." She grunted and said, "I'm not entertaining this. I've had a headache all day!" After which, she threw her hand up and walked away. I asked the other female cashier who'd witnessed everything to let me speak to the manager. She said he was on break. I asked the rude cashier for her name.

She responded, "Tell him it's the "WHITE CASHIER" and I stand by everything I said!" Her female co-worker was shocked, and so was a male worker who ran to tell the manager about the cashier's RACIST comment and RUDENESS. When I approached the manager, shocked by what the male employee told him, he asked me what happened. Afterward, he attempted to apologize for the cashier's behavior. Because he hadn't offended me, his apology was not warranted nor accepted. He gave me his name and hers: Brittany.

Before leaving, I told Brittany that I was going to send a letter to corporate as her egregious behavior on behalf of your company was beyond appalling.

It saddens me to part ways with Mario's because of your employee's behavior. While I chose to conduct myself with restraint, had that been someone else, Brittany may have gotten a different response to her arrogant, racist behavior and remarks. Lastly, for your company to boast of being a "Great Family Owned Restaurant," l hope my complaint and that of others are taken seriously and that appropriate actions are taken; otherwise, Mario's will continue to lose paying customers if you allow Brittany's gross behavior to continue and go unchecked, as there are already multiple complaints/reviews here concerning her behavior that appear to have gone ignored. Please be advised: others in my community have voiced their unpleasant encounters with Brittany and their decision...

My recent visit to Mario Pizza left much to be desired, as both the quality of the baked ziti and the demeanor of the cashier fell below expectations. It’s disheartening to have such an unsatisfactory experience at a restaurant I had hoped to enjoy.

Firstly, I ordered the baked ziti, expecting a flavorful and satisfying pasta dish. Unfortunately, what I received was a bland and underwhelming plate of ziti. The sauce lacked seasoning and the pasta itself was overcooked and mushy. It certainly did not meet the standard I have come to expect from an Italian restaurant.

To compound my disappointment, the cashier’s behavior was far from pleasant. From the moment I approached the counter, they displayed a dismissive and rude attitude. Their lack of professionalism and courtesy was evident in their tone and mannerisms, leaving me feeling unwelcome and unappreciated as a customer.

It is important for any establishment to prioritize both the quality of their food and the customer service they provide. In this case, both aspects fell short of expectations. A lackluster dish coupled with a disrespectful interaction with the cashier made for an unenjoyable dining experience overall.

I sincerely hope that the management at Mario Pizza takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements. Quality control in the kitchen should be a top priority, ensuring that dishes meet the expected standards of taste and presentation. Additionally, customer service training should be provided to the staff to foster a welcoming and respectful environment for all patrons.

In conclusion, my visit to Mario Pizza was marred by a disappointing baked ziti and a cashier who demonstrated rudeness. As a customer, I believe it is crucial to provide honest feedback to help establishments improve. I hope that Mario Pizza takes this feedback constructively and works towards delivering better culinary experiences and customer service...

If i could give a minus 1 star I would!!!! Got a cheese with marinara sauce to go put it in my car on rhe floor got home went to take it out and the entire bag and my car rug was soaked with marinara sauce because the lid was opened! Took it back the miserable order taker girl with the yellow teeth and glasses had nerve to act offended like she didn't do it on purpose! She called me a few names paced around the counter like a dog with rabies like she wanted to fight me omg go figure!!!! I requested they call the manager Lambros who apologize for behavior 20 plus times and gave the excuse that she was facing eviction and homelessness and that's why she was behaving so irrationally! Go figure he actually told me a complete stranger alllll of her personal business seems like he doesn't like her or respect her privacy!!! But who else is gonna take that job so he probably sucks it up and deals with it because applications are NOT coming by the dozens for her job! Didn't think much of it craved a cheesesteak 7 months later go in and she is stilllllll bitter with no class again paced like a dog with rabies!!! She was so worried about me she left 8 plus customers waiting at the counter while she called the manager to try and get him to say I couldn't order wanting him to kick me out because SHE SUCKS AT HER JOB and ALWAYS messes my order up on purpose and I tell on her for doing so ! Not sure if the owners are aware of her insecurities due to her OWN lack of professionalism and hate but if she does things on purpose yet can't handle getting caught and called out for doing so then maybe she needs another job!!!! I feel racially profiled and harassed and believe the OWNERS need to seriously consider reconsider her employment before she gets...
