Carrabba's Italian Grill — Restaurant in Greenville

Today is my birthday. May 25th. We came to eat there and everything was great service food everything was perfect. Until we go to check out I was given a gift card today for my birthday when I took the card out of my card I felt it and I always run my finger over the top of the card so it’s seen and preferated and everyone knows the wait of it I knew without a doubt the card was in the packaging. I should have done was taken the card out and gave it to the waitress. But with that being said everyone knows how a gift card feels. Well she comes back the package is all torn up and tells me the card wasn’t in there and that I should try something on the computer. Yea right she knew what she did. And everyone knows now a days evil comes in small and pretty packaging. People will try everything to take advantage of anyone. I mean I told her it was my birthday and she stood there with a bewildered look on her face. A lady came over to us just before all this happened and asked if we would give her a good review and we were like absolutely. And began to tell us that corporate is on there case. That statement struck me wrong. And that’s when Julia stolen my birthday gift card. I want to thank Carrara’s for hiring her and a special thank you to the Manager for not knowing anything about the gift card. Then theres Julia what a special person she is to take a gift card from someone’s birthday. Thanks again. I really don’t care about the card I mean it had 50 dollars on it. 50 dollars are 50 dollars you know these days it’s hard to get that together. All of my message is basically to let folks know there’s a new scam out there. I’m feelings are hurt more than anything tears are continuing down my face. ⭐⭐ I had a disappointing experience at Carrabba's Italian Grill tonight. My party and I decided to visit without a reservation, and unfortunately, our evening took a negative turn. When we approached the hostess to be seated, her unfriendly demeanor and judgmental look left us uncomfortable. She initially suggested sitting at the bar, but when I inquired about the wait time for a table, she mentioned 10-15 minutes. However, judging from the text alert I received later, the actual wait time turned out to be 25 minutes. By that point, we had already left the establishment. Greenville boasts a plethora of fine dining options, and it's disheartening to encounter such an unwelcoming atmosphere at a supposedly reputable restaurant.

It's perplexing that despite being appropriately dressed and sober, we felt unwelcome and ignored. We were genuinely excited about enjoying an Italian meal, but the overall vibe of the place left us with no choice but to explore other options. In the end, we ended up at Shushi Hana, where we received a warmer reception and enjoyed a pleasant dining experience.

Carrabba's Italian Grill, you have the potential to provide exceptional cuisine and hospitality, but unfortunately, this visit fell short of our expectations. Improvements in customer service and a more welcoming environment would greatly enhance the overall dining experience...

This place is a joke! The way Shannon (one of the managers) speaks to and treats the other employees is absolutely insane, ive never seen the amount of disrespect and immaturity come from a person before. She definitely does not deserve to be in a position to manage or in my opinion any position at all. I feel really sorry for all the employees having to work anywhere near that woman. I've heard her say really foul things to them and turn around and talk about it with other people like it's a joke and is what I'd expect from a girl in highschool. If people don't believe me then go ahead and ask the staff how they feel about her! That woman is enough to run that whole establishment in the ground with her just being in the building. She doesn't care about you, her employees or much less what seems like her own job. There has also been reports of mold in the back behind the scenes and out of date ingredients being used!!!! The dishes aren't even cleaned properly, next time you go here really pay attention to all of that stuff and you'll see exactly what I mean!!! Stay away from this establishment until atleast that manager no longer works there. What a disgrace!!! I have good friends that have witnessed the same thing!
