If I could give zero stars I absolutely would! As a person who has worked in the restaurant industry for over 2 decades this establishment has poor service, poor food all stemming from poor management. The food we ordered was pick up, so i understand and anticipate the quality is not going to be 100%. However this does not excuse selling burnt, dry and spoiled food. The fries on the gyro BURNT, meat on Jerusalem platter BURNT & DRY. sides on platter IN EDIBLE! Fattoush salad spoiled. The hostess (assuming the lady answering the phone) asked us to bring the food back and would replace it. It being almost midnight we opted to speak with the manager the next day and just wanted a refund. Spoke with the manager/ owner and was VERY RUDE. We tried to return all the food we bought(an $80 meal) and he still argue the food was good. In the future PITA HOUSE WILL HAVE OUR BUSINESS.

The establishment is reinventing itself to a family friendly restaurant. In doing so, it changed its name to Baba's. We went over for dinner using a Entertainment Book coupon under the restaurants former name of Habiba. That sparked a little confusion, but the owner came out and assured us that we were at the correct place. It was a Monday night and the place was dead, we were the only diners. Our Server was extremely friendly and helpful. We found the food to be excellent. We both had the lentil soup, I had the lamb Shish-ka-bob and my girlfriend had the lamb shank - which was especially good. For dessert we shared the Baklava. It was the best I have had. I cannot wait to go back and get the lamb shank. The portions were generous and the prices fair. The decor is rustic and leaves a little to be desired. Once this place catches on, it will be popular.

I wish I could give 0 star. I should have known better when I walked in. There was no soul in the restaurant and it took 5 minutes for me to get seated. I ordered a lamb biryani and the Food was terrible. They literally cooked meat cubes and put them next to some seasoned rice. The taste was awful as well. Just as I told it couldn't be any worse, I asked for my check and I see an automatic gratuity of 18% (this was not a party) I usually don't mind tipping but I hadn't never seen that before. The server was there to give us water, take my order and place the food on the table that's it. The rest of the time, she was out back talking loudly to her coworker. Wanna hear another best? They ask for additional tip on the receipt!!! PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF FROM DISAPPOINTMENT. DON'T GO THERE!

Visiting Greenville and looking for Halal food options

The restaurant was pretty empty.

Bartender/waitress was very pleasant and helpful

I ordered the mixed tandoori plate.

The food took forever to come out and when it arrived didn't look very appealing.

With a place called Habibas, I was expecting a very Mediterranean/middle Eastern food palate, but that's not what I received at all.

The carrots were overpowered by whatever spices they had on them, the meat kabob was overcooked and the side of veggies was not appealing at all.

The best part of the dish was the mashed potatoes. This is not something I thought I'd ever say at a middle Eastern restaurant.

Overall the place looks run down, not appealing to visitors from out of town.

Their hookah was very sub par as well. Taste was faint, pull was super heavy due to the amount of water in the base and the head lasted less than 30 minutes.

Really disappointed if this is the only experience the people of Greenville have of middle Eastern food.

If not for the only server at the restaurant being super nice, would have given this place 0 stars.

What a...

I had quite an interesting meal. The Arabic coffee came in the right size and type of cup but without the traditional dallah to pour it from, though it was prepared correctly. I ordered the kofta, which I was puzzled to see comes with the option of mashed potatoes or rice. I’ve eaten kofta many times but never with mashed potatoes 😂😂 The kofta was decent but under spiced, which I totally understand. Heavily spiced lamb is an acquired taste. The accompanying rice resembled what you would receive in an Afghan or Pakistani restaurant. It was almost biryani or pulao. It was accompanied by a serving of stewed turnips and carrots, again, Pakistani. The naan/pita bread was fresh and soft as it should be. Let’s tally our gustatorial tour:

Coffee: Arabian Levant Kofta- Arabian Levant Rice- Afghanistan/Pakistan Turnips-Pakistan Bread- Arabian Levant

All in all, an excellent effort. The Amr Diab music was a nice...

Had to edit my review in a major way. We have came here for a total of 3 years and I've never seen the food decline in quality as it has now. Service was subpar and my order was taken wrong and I was charged a 20 piece instead of the ten piece wing I ordered. I had the hottest beer on tap I ever had since drinking beer. And on top of everything my wife ordered a individual pizza that is her usual favorite and it was so burnt it looked like Ritz cracker with burnt cheese and chicken on it. I told them that I didn't want the pizza and was told by the owner that the pizza was fine, when I have met him before and never once has he accepted his food to be low quality. I paid for the burnt pizza and went on my way sorely disappointed. I guess I have to find another good spot for wings and Mediterranean cuisine. And FYI the prices were reasonable but have increased exponentially so I doubt...
