The baristas are so nice, their lobby is always exceptionally clean, the backline is tidy, organized, and keeps the neat modern astetic of the space. Kelly, the store manager, is truly an example of what her role should be. She is not only efficient, she flawlessly maintains that customer oriented connection while still being the barometer with a keen eye on performing at the necessary level for the company and partners. She is undoubtedly dedicated to those core Starbucks Coffee Company values that built the now $20 billion/year global coffee empire. If her tenure with the company as I understand it, currently approaching 15yrs, isn't proof enough, have coffee at her store everyday for even just a week, I guarantee you that by day 3 they'll know your name and possibly your beverage if you have a regular favorite. If you sit at a table and just watch her team work through the busy 7am-10am rush you'll see efficient, friendly and genuine service that Howard Schultz would be proud of and then you'll depart on that last morning having made meaningful and genuine connections with you didn't expect to impact your life by just being there, but they did and all of a sudden your going back not just for that cup of coffee, but because your day is just not the same, that Keurig coffee maker didn't know your drink by heart, and it certainly didn't greet you by name with the kind of genuineness that you can feel.
Kelly & The Arapahoe Marketplace SBUX partners are truly living up to their companies mission, because they truly do, Iɴsᴘɪʀᴇ Aɴᴅ Nᴜᴛᴜʀᴇ Tʜᴇ Hᴜᴍᴀɴ Sᴘɪʀɪᴛ-ᴏɴᴘᴇʀsᴏɴ, ᴏɴᴇ ᴄᴜᴘ, ᴀɴᴅ ᴏɴᴇ ɴᴇɪɢʜʙᴏʀʜᴏᴏᴅ ᴀᴛ ᴀ ᴛɪᴍᴇ.
At least they did for me, and did so at a time that was critical in my life, this store was my sanctuary, Kelly was a confidant and friend, the baristas made me laugh when I didn't even want to smile. Now-THAT-is the original Starbucks' would you tenth me that moving...
Read moreI frequent starbucks often and today was the first time visiting this particular location and I just have to say I HAVE NEVER been treated with such disrespect. I understand being busy and all but this place was not busy the time this incident took place. Walked in and one of the people behind the counter were helping 2 people that seemed to be on the difficult side to deal with and I understand that, but when there's a second batista there too not doing anything is kind of disturbing to see, so after standing in line over a good 5 mins and still not being helped, I decided to walk out and as I'm walking out, I'm told by both of the baristas to "Check my attitude" not only was that disrespectful but it was a misrepresentation of the person I am as the others behind me also waiting to order heard. So don't come here they are rude and can't seem to want to assist the people that would spend their money in their establishment. So congrats arapahoe marketplace starbucks location you've lost an avid starbucks lover. I'll continue going to the one in safeway on arapahoe road at least I can drink my coffee while doing my grocery shopping and that's a win win unlike stepping into...
Read moreI'm in shock to have heard what happened to my husband's colleague at this Starbucks today. Two middle aged women in track suits told a man to, "Go Back To Pakistan!" As he was walking past them minding his own business. The very kind, intelligent professional responded with, "Excuse me, I didn't hear you." He kindly walked away laughing, but was beyond insulted. Our friend is from India and he is has been a citizen of the United States for 10+ years, not that it matters. He is a well respected professional and a black belt. Those women are very fortunate that I was not there, because I would have taught them very valuable lessons of respect and insult. I would like to speak with the management on duty at lunch hour today and I'd like to make sure those women are never served coffee at this location again. I would like signs posted that racism is not welcome in your store. I will in contact tomorrow to get contact information for the manager that was...
