Leon Mexican Cuisine — Restaurant in Greenwood

El Puerto has nothing to worry about. First time eating there, and after reading many good reviews, I was stunned at how bad it was. It looked promising going in, very nice decor, many booths, which we like. Went sideways from there. We had a rude server who certainly took her time, and SEEMED like she did not understand English. I asked her what kind of tequila they use in there drinks and she said "whatever he uses". Okay, so I ordered a Paloma with Hornitos tequila, which she said they had. 20 minutes later I got my cocktail, keep in mind my husband received his right away, only problem was he ordered a 32 oz. Margarita and got a 20 oz. Truthfully, I am not sure I got the tequila I ordered, but I am sure our sever did not care. Food wise. I ordered the Jalisco Chimi, and my hubby ordered Tacos Carnitas. The Chimi was supposed to have chicken, spinach, and black beans, and a quac salad. No beans at all in the Chimi, and the quac salad was a joke, literally a teaspoon of quac. I was so excited to visit this restaurant for the first time after reading all the good reviews! Leon Mexican Cuisine kinda fell flat for us, sadly. The place was pretty dead when we got there for an early dinner. Service was good although our server didn't come back to take our order for a long time after I asked for just one more minute to decide what to order. Apparently, 1 minute = 15 min.

We ordered the choriqueso, and it arrived lukewarm, but it did taste good. I was really confused because it wasn't hot and was pretty thinned out. I ordered the enchiladas, and the portion was SUPER small and was expensive for the portion size. My food was also cold! The cheese in my cheese enchilada wasn't even melted. That's how cold it was. It was like they poured hot red sauce over room temperature food and sent it out. My husband's burrito was much the same! Portion was a bit bigger, but food was lukewarm.

If I could give a zero I would this is my experience from last night. My friend and I went hear got Fajaitia nachos were just enjoying our meal. Well in the middle of eating I found hair in my food. Then proceeded to get sick from it. We the server finally came out to check on us I told him the issue. He proceeded to get a attitude with us. He asked if we would like a replacement umm no not when hair been in our food. So I get charged $20 because supposedly there was no manager on shift. Now today I go back in to talk to a manager. He proceeds to tell me the server said we had finished our meal which was not the case. So me and manager argue for a few minutes all while I'm being polite over this. He asked me what I would like done I said ,I would like a refund. He at first says no because once again says we finished our meal.
