Cod Tail — Restaurant in Greenwood

Disappointing. I tried this place for the 1st & last time. The cashiers looked unhappy & unbothered upon placing my order but I still remained positive wanting to try out new spot. I spent $80 only to wait over an hour for food. I politely checked 2x with the cashiers just to make sure I didn’t miss my number. Someone called back to say the had the wrong order & were bringing it back (MY ORDER). So had to wait even longer for it to be remade only now they were out of what I wanted so had to substitute! No ETA, no apology, no remedy! Just poor customer service & being told to “talk to them about it” by the cashier before she walked away. Returning 4 min later I asked who is “they” she pointed to the cook who was the manager, who turned out to be the owner that didn’t speak English & refused to come speak with me. Offered $10 off my next Order which I declined because I will never go back. The food was moderately priced but bland, & customer service is nonexistent! While waiting an hour I observed customers asking for a rag to wipe their table off, most of the drink options out & not refilled. The restaurant was not maintained & not clean although the kitchen itself did seem to be maintained as you can see it through a window. A big NO...

Terribly poor customer service. Placed an order over the phone today. Husband went to pick up the order but didn't receive the complete order, only shrimp fried rice. He went back to the restaurant with receipt to let them know they didn't give him the 8 wing chicken dinner. They said he needed to bring the order back, which he did. When he returned this time, Angela (Angie) said that the man in the back said that he looked on the camera and saw that my husband was given two plates. My husband told Angie that he only received the rice. She and the man at the back basically lied about seeing my husband with two plates on camera. Angie said all she could do was offer my hubby 20% off if he wanted to get another order of chicken. They basically took money from us since we never received the chicken that they had left out of our bag. They were already in two other disagreements this evening because of leaving out something from someone else's order and poor customer service. Please turn your phone cameras on when you enter the restaurant to record your transactions to make sure you have your proof should something like this...

Good food! I had the 3pc catfish filets. They were really tasty. The breading was a bit tough, but overall really good. The fries were good as was the cole slaw. My only complaint would be the cole slaw portions are really small (thimble size) and I'm not sure if I didnt ask for it, but I had no tarter sauce. My better half had the 2 pc chicken breast. They were very good. Both plates had 2 pcs of bread, which was placed under the parchment under the meat, which kept the bread warm. We had lemonade to drink and it was absolutely fabulous. It was like a slurpie. We also had a slice of chocolate cake for dessert - awesome cake! Little expensive, but worth it. The entire meal price was about $30, which is about what I would spend elsewhere. The resturant was crowded and had others waiting for a seat to become available. We will be back to try other items...
