Just had a late lunch here at the new Panera Bread in Greenwood. I've been to a few different locations, so I knew what to expect here. Or I thought I did. Upon entering the store, you have two choices- Order the normal way or thru the 'Fast Lane Kiosks.' Not really being a 'people person' I chose the kiosk. The screens were very straightforward. You can sign in or order as a guest. I'm not sure if I've signed up before so I used guest access. There are options to save your order as a favorite, if you're signed in. The menu is great! There are pictures of every option. And there is also an option to customize anything. I ended up getting the half Greek salad and half Italian sandwich on ciabatta instead of the hoagie. To drink, I settled on the blood orange lemonade. There was also an opportunity to get a single dessert item for 99¢. I got the pecan braid. The food was delicious. So much better than Subway or Firehouse subs. Pricing is a little high. But you're paying for the quality ingredients and the ambience. It was nice to have a quiet lunch without kids running around screaming bloody murder. (McDonald's, I'm looking at you.)
All in all, it really was a great experience. I will...
Read moreHighly recommend going here if you enjoy being food poisoned. For the past two weeks, I have went here during their free drink promotion to get the new charged lemonades. My mom and I both got the same drink every day until we became sick after drinking them. Not even 15 minutes after taking a few sips, we became severely sick. Stomach pains, nausea, etc.. you get the gist. The workers always acted extremely annoyed by us and others ordering the drinks because they are too lazy to fix them and don’t want to work. It’s ridiculous. I have no idea what they did to the drinks, but it was definitely nasty if we were able to get food poisoning or whatever we had from a DRINK. Absolutely disgusting how someone could do that to customers who are coming to a job that YOU, the employee, work at and are supposed to be doing. I will never be back and so hope others don’t after reading this review. The overpriced hospital food was never...
Read moreFor a Panera, this is a good location! I came during lunch time and it was nice and quiet in the restaurant. Overall decently clean and the employees are nice and happy. Unfortunately Panera's prices have risen way too much for what it is. The quality of the food hasn't improved but the food has gotten worse. My broccoli cheddar soup did not taste right. It's like the ingredients are worse and there's less broccoli. Either that or it's been watered down! For what I paid, i could go somewhere way better and gotten a large plate of food. Here, I got a tiny soup and tiny salad for nearly $20. Insane. I remember when Panera was about $12-$15 per person. Not coming back unfortunately but the employees were...
