Boccelli's Ristorante — Restaurant in Gresham

First off, they MUST be removing their reviews on google because there is ABSOLUTELY NO000 WAY, this is a 4.4 restaurant... We started off with the "cheese" platter, which contained deli provolone slices, SLICED TURKEY HAM, the thickest possible prosciutto ever?? And 3 slices of salami. Ive never had a worse charcuterie board than this. I swear Costco has a better platter than this, CHEAPER TOO! Now dinner time, you wont believe!! Me and my friends got some water noddles and frozen birds eye tv dinners. I had the Spaghetti Pomodoro which supposedly contains roma tomatoes, fresh basil, roasted garlic, and white wine sauce. Definitely WAS NOT roma tomatoes it was literally diced tomatoes. Fresh basil?? All I saw in my dish was dried basil you get in a spice jar! I think they missed the roasted garlic while making my plate. And white wine sauce... I sure wish it was! NO flavor, NO sauce just BOILING HOT noodle water. I cant even describe the taste! The Texas toast they served with the dish had more flavor than that but all they needed to do was pop it in the oven. Expensive dish for absolutely nothing! I sent back my dish for the fettuccine alfredo because its such a classic and basic dish to make! I dont know where these chefs learned to cool but that was NOT fettuccine, it was SKIM MILK and parsley shavings. Had no taste, and was very watery. The smell is just indescribable.... It was like a public restroom type of smell My friend ordered the gnocchi and HOLY hell, that "blue cheese" was extra moldy let me tell you that! The gnocchi itself was very rubbery like packaged gnocchi, and the sauce was just a swamp of water and oil sitting on the top. The taste was just veryyyyy odd and we both love blue cheese! This wasnt that at all... For my drink I had the "Italian soda" with lavender. Oh! You mean club soda and a dash of torani lavender syrup? For $5!! OBSURD! Lastly, we very quietly told our server that we did not enjoy the meal we were very sweet with her because she was very genuine and her service was 10/10! She sincerely apologized and said she would bring the manager over, he never came by but instead walked by our table 4 TIMES with the dirtiest look! The server came back with the bill and removed all of our entrees and we paid for the appetizer and drinks and left a tip. On our way out the manager yet again, stood at the entrance and DIRTY looked us up and down and did not apologize!

The inside of this place is giving cheap, fast chain restaurant. And a little side note for the owner, spaghetti carbonara is made with guanciale not prosciutto... -100000/10 experience I dont know HOW this place is packed 24/7 and the reviews are all 5 stars? Thats not realistic at all! Something fishy is happening here and its not the clams because we had that too and it was hard boiled clam meat that...

Although the food was good, I will not be a returning customer to Boccelli's. I ordered Boccelli's off of the food delivery app, Door Dash and considering I am a vegetarien and people mess up, I made sure to say no meat atpeast 5 times. When my food got to my hotel one of the meals I ordered had meat and the other had so much pepper I just couldnt eat it. So thinking it would be an easy fix I would just have to call the restrarunt, they'd remake my order and Ill go pick it up that's what I did. Keep in mind I accepted their mistake from the beginning and just wanted my food remade. Once I called I was transferred to the manager, Steve who argued with me for over 20 mins telling me that there was no way that my food had meat in it and that he watched the cook make it himself. We eventually agreed that the order would be remade and I can go pick it up. Due to the fact that he spent 20 mins arguing to me about if my food had meat on it or not I decided to just leave the other meal and just go pick up my food. When I got there he had my food ready, pulled it out and showed it to me assuring to me still that its the same as before and the first meal did not have meat. The sauce was obviously different and this time I could tell there wasnt meat in it. At the time I was done arguing about the first meal and I just wanted my food so I took my food and left. I understand being a vegetarien, that sometimes people mess up no matter how many times you list something but his mistake is not what upset me. His continued arguing is what upset me and convenienced me to never go back here. I have been working with customer service jobs for the past 6 years and if theres 2 things Ive learned, its never argue with a customer and the customer is always right. Although the second one is not necessarily true, the first one is. Remember customers are paying clients, if treated with respect and good food they will reccomend you to others. If treated with disrespect or bad food, they will tell others their experience and to never go to your restrarunt. It's common sense. This shouldn't have been handled the way it was and so therefore I will not...

I went here for a family dinner with my wife and baby. From the moment we walkwd through the door we were treated like trash. The man who seated us simply walked us to a table and said "here is your table" and left didn't ask if we needed a high chair. I had to run down a waitress to ask for one. When the high chair arrived it was set down by the employee with an irritated attitude and was covered in old food. Then when a server came to take our drink order some 10 minutes later she just rushed through everything like she was being timed amd had to completw our order as fast as possible. We got our food and never had any service after that every table around us was being checked on constantly amd recieved refills of their drinks. We however did not get a refill. In fact we had to sit for almost 30 min for a server to ask us if we wanted a box. To which we politely said yes. It took another 15 minutes to get the box and another 10 to get the check. when the check was brought however the server walked up to our table. She immediately turned around with check still in hand and began talking to the table next to us as apparently they knew each other. Trying not be be rude i patiently waited for 5 minutes for the conversation to end. Then when it ended the server then walked past us to the table on the other side of us and started talking to them. Then finally the check was literally tossed on the table. And the server said here is the check.... Oh would you like me to bring you the dessert menu? At this point I want to say hell no. But instead I told her politely no thank you. At which point I had to run down a server to pay. I have to say I have never been treated so poorly and received such poor service anywhere. I also will never dine here again because of this experience. If it were possible i would rate this...
