Sweet Betty's Bistro — Restaurant in Gresham

WAS my favorite restaurant for about 2 years, the staff even knew my order which was nice, but this new location isn't it. I went with my fiancé to have a little breakfast date and we had waited for 1hr 15 mins for the food to get to us. Was very disappointed in the service, they even forgot my pancakes but it took so long for a server to attend me I had to just get up and ask for my bill and awkwardly stand in the middle of the restaurant. Giving them the benefit of the doubt I invited a party of 12 saying that ONCE I got bad service in the new location but we should still go. And that was one of the biggest mistakes I've made, we had a wait time of about 1 hr 45 min to 2 hours for our food to arrive, and not only that but they forgot like two complete dishes and one had a hair, They had remade the one with the hair which was fast, but the other two dishes took about 20 MORE mins.Also forgetting my pancakes a second time. I'm sorry but out of the TWO times I've visited the new location its been really poor service and so I didn't realize who my waiter was. I saw my waiter about 1 time each visit. I will not be going a third time.

P.S I also contacted about 30 mins before we got there to make a reservation of 12 8 adults 4 kids. They said they don't have the space inside but only outside in the patio which was fine, but when we got there no one had any idea who we were when we said we called ahead of time. And had to wait like 15 mins standing around for them to bus a table and merge two together.I called the number on their Google page which answered "Sweet Betty's Bistro" so unless that's the wrong number im ashamed with the poor...

The old location was phenomenal, my girlfriend and I have been going there for multiple years. Amazing food, good quality customer service, and a very friendly environment. But this was my first experience at the new location. I was not satisfied to say the least. I arrived with a group of friends and a few were here on vacation. Everyone had high hopes they would enjoy the experience but the food took forever to come. We were a group of 10 or so, but Waiting easily an hour-hour and forty five mins is too long. There was some very nice customer service from a gentlemen who attempted to make a chocolate milk (kind gesture). But apart from him I was not satisfied with anyone else. I had one glass of water at the beginning when we were seated. The plastic cup was no larger than 8 oz I believe. I was given 0 refills the entire 2.5 hours we were there. None of my friends were given refills neither. Unfortunately a friend of mine found a hair in her food. Also, the kitchen or server whom ever it may be, forgot multiple sides on dishes, plates, and mixed a few sides on my plate an a friends. Update after owner “review” I love how people now demonize someone based on a review. All I wanted to share was my experience. It seems the review wasn’t even read. I simple stated we weren’t seated even after several people who came after us. Which would frustrate anyone; and has nothing to do with staff shortages as people were still being seated. I was going to try this place again in the future. But after this response I am not interested in contributing to this business.

Really wanted to like this place as it is a 5 minute walk from home. Called and asked if dogs could be on the patio and was told yes. So, I brought my pup and when we got there there was about a 20 minute wait. The whole time there were multiple outside tables open. After seeing three different groups coming and being seated outside before us I was frustrated. Then after 30 minutes of waiting and still seeing people being seated before us and still having multiple tables open I was done. We left unsatisfied.
