American Deli House — Restaurant in Griffin

Word to the wise do not order right when the store is closing! They use recycled wings...Yikes! I worked late and wanted to grab food for my family only to discover that ALL 30 wings were hard as rocks. As we bit into the wings no meat dry skin only. Being that I work in the legal system I wanted to give the manager an opportunity to make this right so this would not happen to anyone else. After making 3 calls into the store I was finally able speak to manger Yung. To my surprise he was very defensive and was not willing to make reasonable accommodations. I was first asked if I still had the wings in my possession. I told them they were trashed because they were too hard to eat. His excuse became “well I have no way of knowing”. I said since that is the case I will get them out the trash and bring them in the store to your counter, per your request. Since it sounds like you have used this method before. I’m praying my wings were not used like that and you reserved them to me. After all of this Yung said “I can not compensate you in full because I’m losing money”. But it is ok for us as customers to lose our hard earned money through horrible food and poor customer service. I petitioned to the owner I too will be losing more money driving back to your store after spending $26 of my hard earned money for you to treat me as if our community is only trying to get poor quality free wings. It saddens me that this is what we have to accept as patrons in the Spaulding community. Our churches, schools and Walmart family members order here. How many times has this happened and it is counted as a loss. I will be calling the Better Business Bureau we deserve to be treated with respect when issues are addressed. not taken...
