We placed an ordered for delivery from Jimmy Johns. The manager was absolutely unprofessional and rude to the point he refused to give us his name. He worked close on 5/13/2021 we placed our at 6:25PM and got it around 6:52. We called to inform Jimmy Johns our order was incorrect. The manager "professionally" told us "we waited too long to call and inform them they made our order incorrect". Fun fact apparently he has a magical timer that tells him when we opened or order and reviewed it. Then apparently there is this undefined time where we can report our order to Jimmy Johns about their wrong doings. He "kindly" made it very clear we failed to meet this unknown expectation. We went to go pick up our order, where he announced to Mack Avenue, he was closing the store. He continued to blame the delivery driver for the mess up. We explained that it wasn't the delivery driver it was the fact that our subs were made wrong. He continued to ask me in a very "professional" manner if I had " a husband, a son, a nephew, or anybody to come work for him and see what it is truly like. Then send them my way". The "manager", (which I think should be demoted at this point for his attitude and his ability to effectively problem solve) continued to proclaim he was trying to close his store and the fact that I was there due to his employees mistake was a pure inconvenience. Although, I do know plenty of qualified individuals who could work at Jimmy Johns, I would never want them to work under this "man" who called himself a manager due to his unprofessionalism and his...
Read moreI work at a near by hospital where many of the employees order from this location all the time. I ordered online about 30 minutes before my scheduled lunch break giving them time to deliver. Once it had been past those 30 minutes I called the store who told me the driver had left about 20 minutes ago and should be there soon. I waited another 15 minutes and called again since my food still had not arrived. I told them I wanted a refund and not to worry about the food anymore. The young lady I spoke to said I would get a refund and the food would still be delivered to be. She apologized for the delay. Another 15 minutes passed and another hospital employee walks in with my order and gave it to me. Their delivery driver gave it to a completely different person, never called my phone to clarify or ask me to meet him because he couldn't find my location. I was fuming. Later that evening I checked my account for something else. I then also found that they had also over charged me for this order to begin with. The following morning I called and spoke to a manager who said they had already reversed the charge in their system so the money should be back in my account withink 24 to 48 hours. It has been a full 7 days now. The entire over charged fee is still charged to my account and no one there seemed to have an explanation for why I got overcharged in the first place or why I haven't gotten my money back after such terrible service. I will never be ordering...
Read moreThe food is bland. One type of bread? Come on...the CEO of Jimmy Johns is a fat, bloated, obese jerk who pays his employees crap. Perhaps he should go on the Subway diet...And as for this location, the employees make me feel the future of America is bleak. They are not very smart, and it takes forever to order something over the phone. Its like nobody there can handle more than one morsel of information at a time.
Jets Pizza immediately has your location, number, etc that will pop up when you call them more than once. They catalog that info, which makes the ordering process quick and efficient. Furthermore, my totals are always different. 11.75 one day, 10.50 another...and as for delivery time, it isnt bad per se...but the commercials make it seem like they had a major break through in delivery speed. Nope. Same as anywhere else.
If thats all Jimmy Johns has going for it, theyre a joke. Unfortunately, when you work in an area where the only two places that deliver are pizza and gross subs, you are forced to decide between the two. The people working at this particular Jimmy Johns must be the spoiled brat children of Grosse Pointers, who are bitter, because their parents are making them work off the lawyer fees for their cocaine...
