Mazzio's — Restaurant in Grove

My rating should be a 2.5 I went on Christmas eve 2015, when waiting in the buffet line the waitress asked if we wanted drinks, I asked if it was included in the price of the buffet? She said it was and I agreed to have a soda. So did the 2 adults and 2 children with me.

When checking out we had charges for 3 adult drinks and 2 junior drinks as extra charges. I told the manager (big guy) that we were told that the drinks were included but he would not budge. I said if we would have known that we wouldn't have ordered drinks and his waitress told us that it was included so it should be included.

No sympathy or consideration. He could have at least offered to take off the 2 junior drinks.

As another reviewer said, the selections were terrible. They were sure pushing the mushrooms as there were mushrooms on 2/3rds of the pizza. I know you can usually request the type you want in Tulsa but who wants to wait when your hungry.

We will remember this treatment and go to the Pizza Hut on the other side of town.

This has been our go to place on Tuesday. I am very upset and don't know if ill ever be back. From the moment we walked inside. I was nobody. I had to get someone to get our drinks. I made a another trip up to order my own pizza. Then when it arrives it had tomoatoes on it tells me that it comes that way. When I ordered specifically chicken Alfredo with spinach. Don't lie to me. I waited another 15 min, no one came by to check on us. My husband doesn't like scenes. Don't bother me one bit. I want to here from a Manager or owner. I left without eating anything except a salad. Yesterday, I drove an hour to have all I could eat salad and pizza. I'd do it again tonight. I'd do it again tomorrow night.

The staff was great and kept on top of stuff. Our drinks never went empty and our table was kept clear as we demolished plate after plate of food. One of them even laughed at a terribly cheesy joke, so...

I don't know where they get their blue cheese dressing, but it has chunks of the funky stuff the size of my thumb, just the way it should be. If you're feeling gastrointestinally adventurous, pile on some hard boiled eggs to your salad and then gulp down some spicy, jalapeno and pepperoni pizza and really see what you're made of.

Finding a good salad bar is near impossible any more and the fact that I can chase a great salad with great pizza is just the way it should be. I'd give it 10...
