I went early in the morning (opening time), the place was empty, the service was reasonable according to what we ordered, which was fresh salmon with roasted potatoes and truffle oil. Most of the tables are on the second level, there are tables available on the first level but they are few, it has a wheelchair entrance, but due to the size I do not recommend people with wheelchairs to visit the place because there is a high possibility that they do not have tables available especially on days of high volume of people. The food was exquisite, the appetizer dish we ordered was Mozzarella a la Carroza, they are heavy home made breaded Mozzarella with a hand made tomato sauce (nothing pre-existing). The price was reasonable. They have a parking section just across the street from the front. Overall it was a very good experience. Since this is a small district with several places to eat I leave you the menu which is constantly updated, just scan the QR Code in the picture and select the name of your restaurant...
Read moreThis restaurant partners with two other restaurants in the same building so you can sit in one area but order from the other area. (Which to their credit is a great idea). My friends wanted pasta so we decided to dine (physically) at Agilio e Olio franchise. The environment was ok, they offer indoor, outdoor and bar seating. One of the ACs were not working so the temperature was not controlled very well. Staff are friendly enough, food came out within a reasonable amount of time and portion sizes were also reasonable.
I ordered “El Boricua” from their partnering restaurant, “La Habicyuela guisa.” Unfortunately the food I had was not good. My friends child seemed to have enjoyed her Bolognese, and my friend enjoyed her shrimp pasta. However her husband had ordered a lasagna which seemed more gimmicky than true Italian. It was also was somewhat cold on the inside. For the price paid, overall it was not really worth it. Not likely to go back or to...
Read moreWent today for the first time. I have never experienced discrimination in PR. We were discriminated because my daughter is Muslim and was wearing a hijab. The restaurant was empty with at least 5 tables available and she told my daughter they only had tables outside and if started raining she was unable to accommodate. My daughter them turned to me and asked me what I wanted to do, the girl then saw I looked totally different, more like the kind of people that she is used to see in the place and change the version to “if start raining I will accommodate you guys”. At that point I realized it was about the hijab but didn’t want my daughter to feel bad so I agreed to sit outside. We waited 45 minutes for drinks and a appetizer. So decided to leave. The only people sitting outside beside us were 3 humble looking ladies. We left and went to Josefina in Montehiedra and the service was outstanding. Is sad to see so much ignorance...
