Judgement Day: I am one of those demands my money's worth. At first I was pressured / obligated (small business and all) to eat there. After eating quite a "few" times now, I can honestly say the sandwiches are "GREAT", when you have a salad there you've had a salad (none of this: ok I've had it, I'm still hungry). The cakes are made on site (from scratch no less) some of the best I have ever had, and the slices are so big, when you finish your sandwich you will have some to eat later. We are a party of 3 looking for a light soup and sandwich meal on the day before Thanksgiving. The soup was fresh and flavorful, exactly what we were looking for. The sandwiches used good quality meats. I had ordered a Rueben, and my only complaint was that it was on wheat bread and not a rye. Overall, a good quality lunch with very nice, friendly staff.

We visited Amelia’s while we were on vacation in May. We went to the zoo and wanted refreshing deli sandwiches and came across this gem! All the employees were so nice, personable and gave us great recommendations. It was such a nice little restaurant and finding hidden gems like this and not some huge commercialized restaurant while on vacation was very refreshing. The homemade potato salad and pasta salad were just like “grandma” used to make. And the sandwiches were filling and a nice break from fried foods.
