Extremely Disappointed – Serious Allergy Incident

I’m writing this review with deep concern and frustration. During our visit to Sweet Cone Alabama, my daughter—who has a severe nut allergy—clearly informed the staff of her allergy and specifically requested a clean scoop for her coffee ice cream. Despite taking these precautions, the coffee ice cream she was served contained almonds.

We had to rush her to the emergency room in the middle of our summer vacation due to an allergic reaction that could have been entirely avoided with proper awareness and communication.

This is not just an issue of customer service—it’s a matter of health and safety. Allergies are not a preference; they are potentially life-threatening. It is imperative that the owner and management take immediate action to properly train their team on food allergies, cross-contamination, and the importance of clear ingredient labeling.

Even a simple, “I’m not sure—let me check,” could have prevented this emergency.

Sweet Cone Alabama – My Coastal Favorite!

No matter if I’m in Gulf Shores or Panama City, Sweet Cone Alabama is always a must-stop for me! From coast to coast, this place never disappoints. The atmosphere is fun, the staff is friendly, and the ice cream? Absolutely delicious every single time!

My personal favorite is the Coffee Toffee Crunch—rich, creamy, and the perfect blend of flavors. I’ve visited multiple locations and have never had a bad experience. It’s clear they take pride in their product and service.
