The Oyster House — Restaurant in Gulf Shores

I wasn't as impressed with the food as some had lead me to believe. We ordered the Broiled seafood lover's platter and the Shell shocked oyster sampler. The broiled platter was okay. The stuffed shrimp was a bit under done, the shrimp scampi were tiny little cocktail shrimp, the flounder was good but tiny and the boiled shrimp were without seasoning. No cocktail sauce but a strange white sauce that wasn't explained to me. The oyster sampler was 9 oysters and no sides. If you want a simple salad, it's 5 bucks. I loved everything about this place. We got lucky and didn’t have to wait for a table so we visited the surrounding shops after to burn off some calories. I had an alligator po boy that was seasoned so delicious with lots of perfectly seasoned fried gator. Also yummy strawberry daiquiri!
