ETA: Huge THANK YOU to Pop Brothers owners Octavio & Shannon for reaching out after our experience last night. They went above and beyond turning a negative into a positive. We really enjoyed our experience with them at the shop and deciding what popsicles we liked best is a challenge. High quality, unique flavors, and exceptional customer service makes Pop Brothers a winner and must-visit destination. Highly recommend the strawberry basil, hibiscus, and Oreo cheesecake flavors. There's a flavor for everyone, including your canine friends.
Definitely worth a trip! Pop Brothers has been on our vacation to-do list for months. We arrived to the Gulfport location at 6:45 PM tonight (Monday, November 26)...only to find the door locked. A worker came to the door and said the shop was closed and she was counting down. When I mentioned the website listed the closing time as 8:00 PM, I was told the shop is on "winter hours" and closes an hour early. No where on the Pop Brothers website or Facebook page does it mention winter hours. Even if the shop was operating on "winter hours" it still shouldn't have closed for another 15 minutes until 7:00PM. Very poor customer service to lock doors and shut down before the posted closing time. Flew 800 miles for nothing.
I am exceptionally irritated, irked, and...
Read moreVery Cool spot! Not too much or flashy on the inside or the outside, but a cute spot! Happened to be the original location of now 4 or so locations! Lady there was very helpful and knowledgeable about each popsicle and knew the tastes of each! Her favorite was “Lavender, Milk and Honey”, so a bit questionable there, but I’ll let it slide. I happened to try “Sour Gummy Worms”, which was one of her favorites she said. It was a nice pink color and flavor of trolli sour gummy worms and even had a couple sour gummy worms inside the popsicle! It topped my expectations! It was $5.53 paying with card for the one popsicle, so similar to other ice cream shops might be. Friends got “Birthday Cake” (which had sprinkles on top) and “Pistachio, Milk and Honey”. They were both satisfied and were happy with their choice! I wouldn’t recommend eating 2, as they were pretty sweet, but after a meal down the road at “Shaggy’s” ( see my review of there ) it was a nice cap to the evening!
Overall, beat my expectations and would 100% go back and recommend to anyone in town looking for a treat near the beach and in the summer, I would imagine it would be the perfect treat to...
Read moreGreat popsicles, rude worker. I went tonight and it was not my normal pleasant experience. I talked very highly of this place to the group that I brought there. We got eye rolls from the worker because the young child with us changed his mind after she took the popsicle out of the cooler. It had not been opened yet. We asked to use the restroom. She told us to wait a second. She removed a mop bucket from the bathroom and pushed in in front of us. We asked if it was okay if we went in now, and she rolled her eyes again and said, "I guess". We went to throw our popsicle sticks away, and she told us we needed to throw the sticks at the large trashcan at the road because she already took the trash out, again another eye roll. All of this occurred before closing time. She was very rude and made the exprience uncomfortable for...
