I love supporting small businesses, even more so when they their staff is just as sweet at the pastries they make! I came in to place a large order for my daughters birthday and sampled a few items. I planned to be in and out with the sampling and putting in the order but ended up staying and talking to one of the employees who recommended other bakeries in the area for things that they couldn't do. Amidst the conversation we came to the realization that not only did we go to the same school at one point but she knew a large amount of my family. Being an Out of Stater we try foods that each state are known for. I was after the best bakery for a Buttered Cookie, but was told to go get a King Cake and the best was Quality Bakery.The owner was awesome getting there late telling her my story she was able to give us the opportunity to take a cake. We went in from out of state to get donuts at 8 am. King cake only had an option for cinnamon dough because she didn't want to make a batch of dough for it.. That was her words.
