Crumbl — Restaurant in Gypsum Township

My 1st time going into Crumbl Cookie (in Derby, Ks), I had heard good things and was excited! When I walked in, no one greeted me and so I had to order from a kiosk... I ordered a lemon crinkle cookie and paid cash! So someone had to come take my money... About a 1/2 an hour later, the employees were trying to decide who was gonna come tell me they had "sold out" and it would take 2 hours to make more if I wanted to come back... (which they were not as there was about a dozen on a bakers rack)... but I said "ok, then can I please get my money back?" To which I got a reply of "sorry, but there isn't a manager here to open the register and that they would just put it back on my card"... I reminded them that I paid cash... they said that they would just send it to me... I asked how when they didn't have my information? So could I leave it please? They refused to take my info and said that someone would reach out... so more than a month later... I have no cookie, no cash back and no response after many tries to reach a manager or the owner! Extremely...

I had the worst experience that I have ever encountered when trying to pick up an order that was made through their online ordering process. When arriving to pick up the order, they happened to be out and could not provide the product that I had already paid for when our order was made. When returning two hours later after being told that our order was now ready, they were once again out of what they said that they had. It took under 10 minutes to get from my home to their store. Crumble Cookie had no problem accepting payment for their product that they twice could not provide. Apparently the manager is not capable of providing their product which in turn caused several people to be upset, as I was not the only one not able to get what they purchased, and while I was waiting caused two customers to just turn around and leave. (I hope they didn’t pre pay for their order online like I did and just walked out empty handed) Maybe some management training would be helpful for a more professional...

Unfortunately, the cookies ARE most DEFINITELY worth the hype! I wish I didn’t know how amazing these cookies are! I have developed an addiction to this place, even though the menu changes each week! I have severe ADHD and I don’t typically go outside of my comfort zone and I typically only order or eat the SAME. THING.EVERY. SINGLE time/day. But with this place I stepped out of my comfort zone and tried a few of the cookies I typically wouldn’t even consider and now I order every new cookie each week because I know that I will like them because they’re all always really good! I love that they have two staples that stay the same every week too. The derby location is great. They’re always super clean. They are pleasant but they don’t seem to be very chatty, warm, or inviting. It’s obvious that they’re there to do their job with the cookies and not so much there for exceptional customer service, they’re not bad, but they’re just not remarkable if that...
