San Michaels — Restaurant in Hackensack

sad to say food was good, but they will overcharge you indiscriminately! The place is under new management and apparently they are not looking for customer loyalty or respect. it’s get a quick buck while you can! imagine ordering a dish that on the menu board is 11.95, on the online menu is 13 and at the cash register is 19! the same dish, but with a 7 difference more! we ordered juice and they hiked thr price from 2.50 to 6! i coundnt believe it and wanted to give her a benefit of doubt, but instead she quickly entered the random prices in the register to show me ! the only price on the menu they didn’t change was the cheeseburger. Again, good place to eat, but watch out they will shamelessly...

Really awesome Ecuadorian-owned restaurant on main st. They moved to this new location. We ordered a Bolon de Verde Mixto Platter and a steak, egg, and cheese sandwich. I also ordered a Quaker which was not on the menu and coffee. Although they got the incorrect cheese that I had ordered on the sandwich, the food, service, and atmosphere was still really great. There's plenty of seating, music, and two good sized TVs that would probably be great for game days. They have a very extensive menu and I look forward to coming back! Come support this...

Awful, first time of all I order my chaulafan without shrimp because I’m allergic and ecuadorian sancocho based in the menu, I didn’t check my food right away because I was working and with a lot of customer, when I did I saw my food with shrimps and the sancocho honestly the meat was disgusting and didn’t even wanted to taste it so I throw the food when I called back and ask for a solution they couldn’t returned the money which was ok but they even want to send the right plates, they want the old food back, like what are you selling it again? It doesn’t make sense I heard a lot of bad things in this places but I still wanted to give it a tried but it was a bad experience. Pésimo pésimo servicio pedí mi comida chaulafan sin camarones porque soy alérgica y sancocho ecuatoriano, por mi trabajo no pude revisar mi comida enseguida porque tuve que atender a muchos clientes y lastimosamente cuando la revisé mi chaulafan vino con tantos camarones y el sancocho que pedí basado en el menú estaba totalmente mal hecho que ni siquiera quise probarla y la bote cuando llame a hacer el reclamo para pedir una solución me dijeron q no me podían devolver el dinero el cual entiendo, pedí que si le podían mandar los platos bien hechos y como los pedí, me dijeron que tenia q devolver los platos anteriores, ósea que van a hacer q revender la comida, y ellos saben exactamente como me mandaron los platos xq la primera chica q atendí me dijo que ella había visto el Plato pero no sabía que mi comida era sin camarón, a mi ya me había. Hablado mal de este lugar pero aún así quise intentarlo y que decepción, nunca mas...
