Mobile-ordered a banana bread and a latte in two transactions back to back while standing outside the store . Notifications came in that both orders are ready so I stepped in. Banana bread was there, but not the latte. I told the barista that I am waiting for a latte under the same name but she said that the bread is the only order they have for me. I explained that it was a separate order under the same name, but she still insisted sternly that they don’t have any other order under my name. In this interaction she seemed annoyed and was certainly unfriendly, not an ounce of compassion for the customer standing there confused as to what might have happened. She then started looking around and sure enough my latte was standing there on the side. There were maybe 3 or 4 other drinks on the counter, so really not busy at all. She uttered an apology and turned away. There was no hello or goodbye in all of this, even though I was the only customer in the store. The store itself has no chairs, inside or out, despite a location that would support it. To top it all off, my latte was only lukewarm but I didn’t even dare to go back in to ask them to correct it. Read moreI visited this store to pickup a mobile order, and the order was made in the wrong size. I informed the barista by showing them my mobile order, and the manager did not want to refund or correct the issue. What puzzles me is they offered an explanation as to why they made the drink smaller as the result of a modification I made, in which I asked for less syrup, and they said that means I would get a smaller size. They seemed very inconvenienced by me, when I in truth was inconvenienced by them, not to mention the order was completed almost 20 minutes after I placed it. They tried to process a refund, but couldn't figure it out so I left.
