Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Hallandale Beach

The food is ok for the price especially these days. But that's not the focus on this review the focus is their customer service. It's is soo bad that I have to take the time out of my day to be petty and share my experience with those who are interested. The assistant manager girl is by all means the nastiest, most unprofessional, illiterate, and disrespectful that I have yet scene or experienced. I can not believe that they have her as an employee let alone in management. That's one of the problems with America these days we have uneducated, CHILDREN with no proper work ethic obviously not raised right and they are in charge??? Are you serious Marcos Pizza!! This is what you allow to represent you?? She hung up on me 4x, I placed an Uber eats order... submit at 329 she claims was received at 331. I explained no where on the app does it have a request option for half and half options. She informed me that their policy is to call before hand. Ok great.. this is my 1st time ordering through ubereats at marcos(I won't even make that name capital) no where on the app does it say call before hand for special requests. How do I know about that made up policy?? Of course no one is available in upper management right? Hung up on 4x, yelled at, order still incorrect and I have a poorly made pizza that looks like my child made undercooked and probably tampered with from the looks of it. Never again marcos never again will I allow my business at that poor excuse of an establishment you call a family pizza restaurant. My friends and family will all feel tge same and tge word will spread because NO! I'm tired of this way of customer service we have had for the past few years this...

I order 2 pizzas and cheese bread for myself and my son. When I arrived to pick up the pizza the store was completely dark as if they were closed already way before closing time. I had to knock on the window to get this gentleman attention. He handed me my pizza and I went to my car to check it. After opening the cheese bread I realized it was undercooked and so was both pizzas. I went back to inform him and he asked me what do I want them to do. I asked either make it right or provide me with the cash to buy something different. He also informed me the OVENS WERE OFF ALREADY. He said he was just “the cleaner” and when I asked for the manager he said the manager was busy. I asked multiple times for the manager informing him I didn’t want to speak to him anymore. He slammed the door and went and voided my ticket. I asked him again for the manager and he then informed me “HE IS ABOVE THE MANAGER”. I replied you just said you’re the CLEANER so how are you above the manager? He replied I just so happen to be above the manager and told me “I’m banned from Marco’s pizza from now on”…. I’ve never in my life experience poor customer service as I did tonight and I left feeling like I was in the wrong to be banned for complaining about undercooked pizza which could make myself and my child sick. This man needs to be trained on how to provide good customer service to paying customers that helps him to even have a job. Without us “customers” there is NO MARCO’s...

I ordered through Uber Eats and the food came fast, and it was made accurately.

But the thing is the food was very bland and tasted like they used very low quality ingredients. Even the old world pepperoni is supposed to be spicy and was not spicy at all, and it doesn't have much taste or flavor to it. It didn't even taste like regular pepperoni. Then the crust had a weird taste to it that I can't explain that wasn't good or wasn't bad, but it was very bland. I guess you can say the crust tasted very doughy and had like an air taste to it(even though it was made well done), which kind of was a turn off to me eating it. Which I usually don't have problems liking and eating crust on pizza like some people.

I would say the overall quality of the food is a mix between Papa John's and Little Caesars. The taste is just like Little Caesars(which is horrible), while the look of the pizza and the size of the slices look just like Papa John's Pizza. I mean even the cheese looks like the nasty Little Caesars cheese where it's just a bunch of clumped cheese that's soft, but looks like it's stuck together and hard, but when you bite into it's soft. Kind of looking like it's fake cheese and very greasy full of grease on top of the cheese, exactly like Little Caesars.

So overall it wasn't a very good experience and I will not be ordering from here again. I think this place tries to think their Pizza is really good like a gourmet pizza restaurant, when...
