Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Hamilton Township

We had never heard of Jersey Mike’s until we started seeing it on TikTok, and I was so excited to find out there was a location in our area. My mom and I went to try it, and we were honestly impressed. She ordered the chicken cheesesteak, I had the tuna, and both were delicious—our first experience was amazing.

Unfortunately, our second visit was a completely different story. When we walked in, we noticed a staff member sweeping the floor while food was being prepared. Then, when we got to the counter, it was dirty—definitely in need of being wiped down. To make matters worse, sandwiches were being wrapped directly on the unclean counter, which is completely unacceptable.

It wasn’t even busy—just myself, my mom, and one other customer with a partner, so there was no reason for the area to be so poorly maintained. The cleanliness was off-putting, and although the food wasn’t bad the second time (though much saltier), the environment made it hard to enjoy.

I go online to place an order for pick up know that it’s going to be somewhat busy. I get there my phone says it will be ready by 6:03 pm and I’m waiting people who go in to place an order are getting their food before mine. Go up and ask employee if it ready he says no. He pulls a ticket which I could tell mean hey we don’t even have it in process just to wait until 6:19 to pick up an order that should have been ready over 15 minutes ago. Just to say it was ready 10 minutes ago jokingly I didn’t find it funny that you gave me a time and made me wait 15 minutes over that. They need to learn how to prioritize online orders over in person or it is just a useless system that is...

I love jersey Mike's as a general rule of thumb and maybe the poor sandwich quality was because it's a new store and very busy. I ordered a chicken cheesesteak and an Italian. The cold sub was perfect and the wife absolutely loved it. My hot sub tasted like it was cooked on a dirty grill and was very burnt and crispy , the burnt flavor like the grill wasn't being scrapped in-between making sandwiches. Again I love jersey Mike's but I wasn't impressed with this particular location at all.
