Thai Lisu — Restaurant in Hampton

Fantastic authentic Thai food and the best prices in area. I have dined at 30 or 40 Thai restaurants and this place is a hidden gem. The Pad Thai was very good and I asked for half chicken and half vegetables and was charged the normal price. All the other Thai places I have eaten charge for a side of vegetables when I order Pad Thai with both chicken and vegetables. The Pad Pak vegetables with chicken were the best I have ever had. All the food is fantastic and run by a couple.

Prices are unrealistically reasonable with many dinners just above the $10 price mark. That is unheard of. Not only are the food prices low but they also do not gouge by overpricing soft drinks. A soft drink will cost you less than going to a convenience store. Two dinners and drinks cost $27. That is less than what most fast food places cost and half the cost of some Thai places I have dined.

There are only two people, I believe a husband and wife team, so you may have to wait a few minutes for your food as everything is made fresh with some of the freshest ingredients I have encountered in restaurants. The Thai vegetables tasted they they just picked them from the garden. There are also very limited seating with two tables so you may have to settle for take out.

The spot is located inside the Walmart on coliseum. The couple who runs the place opened up shop recently and so they haven't had too much time to set up completely, but the poke bowl I bought definitely defied expectations. I'm normally weary about spots that aren't well established but my order was very flavorful without being excessive on sauce, and very filling. It was also very affordable. I'll definitely be coming back when I'm in the area because it's nice to have an option that isn't a subway or the pretzel spot. I recommend

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10!!!! First time trying this place last week out of curiosity after grocery shopping--and wow, I was impressed! I ordered the Thai Sweet Basil and Pad Thai, and both were super tasty and flavorful. I had to come back, and this time I got the Thai Sweet Basil again plus the Pad Woon Sen (as pictured). Once again, they did not disappoint! 🔥

As a frequent Asian foodie, this definitely hit the spot. And the prices? Honestly the lowest I’ve seen in a long time without sacrificing quality! I was shookt when I saw the menu price 🤯 total...
