I WILL NEVER EAT HERE OR BRING MY FAMILY HERE AGAIN. My 3-star is being gracious because the waitress was polite. The last time I visited this location was probably about a year ago and it was takeout. When we entered (around 1:30 in the afternoon on Friday, 11/29) the host walked up and said, "How many?". I replied, "Hello, its four.". She never spoke back and already that was a red flag for me. I'm big on customer service, which always should start with a greeting, even if the greeting isn't warm and sincere. Note: Both of my children went to the restroom, which was the opposite way of our table. I noticed the manager sitting at a table having breakfast. He spoke and pointed my children in the direction of the restroom. Any who, as we were escorted to our table I couldn't help but notice the floors were dirty. They looked as if they hadn't been swept all morning (or maybe not even the night before closing) and probably hadn't been mopped in a few days or more. We were originally sat at a booth which had crumbs all over the sitting area. We moved to another table because it was too tight for my husband. This table had crumbs on it as if it wasn't wiped off and cleaned good. I started to look around the restaurant for cleanliness as I do everywhere I go but even more now since its already off to a bad start. The walls are unbelievably filthy!! The legs of the tables and chairs are dirty. The backs of the chairs are dirty. The overhead where the cook places the food for the waiter/waitress to pick up is disgustingly filthy!! I noticed that walking out. And at this point I'm disappointed in myself for staying and allowing my family to eat here. The vents/filters and ceiling all were super dusty which had dust flying all in the air and falling into my coffee. The food itself, my family seemed to enjoy, but as for me, it tasted a bit funny. But at this point I'm already disgusted so it could've been a mind thing. The syrup dispenser and condiments containers on the table needed to be wiped down and cleaned off. We all went to the restroom before leaving because we were headed out of town. I don't know why I thought that would have been any better. It was nasty! Not the worst I've seen but not clean. The walls, dirty! The smell, disgusting! Leaving out of the restroom, and going to, the manager is still sitting at the table but done eating and with his feet propped up on the other side of the booth. He's watching a video or TikTok or something as such on his phone. Why do I mention that? Because your restaurant needs some serious cleaning and you're relaxing. Even if you don't participate, which I would have in my retail/restaurant management days, you should be tasking your staff to do some cleaning. When my family arrived there was one couple already dinning in. Another gentleman came in right after us and dinned in. That's it. So its not busy at all, right now anyway. I've worked in several restaurants and prided myself on how "our" restaurant looked to the eye of all of our guests. Restaurants don't self-clean. Read moreI had the worst experience this morning. We arrived for a midnight breakfast around 1:30am...was seated by a Jessica(the waitress). It was freezing cold, was told the temperature could not be adjusted bc she’s going through menopause & she sweats really bad..& so does other staff. I politely went to the car & got a sweater..trying to be understanding. Yet, didn’t feel as a customer that I should freeze bc of the explanation she gave. She then stated that customers gave her a poor review bc of that. At that moment, we should have left. Yet, we stayed placed our order & talked while we waited on our food. When we placed our order we were the only customers there. The restaurant began to fill up with more customers & we began to notice that every was eating & we still hadn’t received our food when we were there first. A couple came, ordered, complained about the temperature & they adjusted it, after Jessica told us they had no control over it. The couple ate & paid their tab..& left. Still no food for us. A party of 7 was seated, they all are receiving their meals...yet we are still waiting. Jessica, our waitress comes over & informs us that it’s only one cook & it’s coming. We continued to be patient...another party of 6 people place there order...as we continue to see customers receiving their food. I then ask for a manager. The manager informed us that he’s just arriving & that he’s handling it. He said don’t worry about the tab & that our food will be arriving shortly. We continued to wait. Finally, our food arrives..I notice that my portion was extremely small..informed Jessica. She stated all she let the manager know & that it comes out the “bag” that way. I then requested to speak to the manager again. The cook comes to the table..saw the portion & said he would gladly remake it. He also informed that he made our food an hour ago & was told that we complained bc it was cold. At that moment we realized Jessica was the issue. We informed the cook that we never received our food. She bought us our check while we were sitting waiting on our food. We got the check without even being served!! He stated that it was packaged to go! Not sure what Jessica did with the food but we never got it until after we spoke with the manager. Worst experience ever. We only ordered water & lemon, she never asked if we needed a refill. Never offered anything as we politely waited for over an hour to dine. I can say the manager & cook went out their way to clean up the poor service Jessica provided. Yet, when you experience poor customer service, lies, & complete neglect it makes effects the entire view of the company. Read moreWent there tonight to order two omelettes . My wife was like her omelette smelled funny like MAYBE THE CHEESE WAS BAD SHE WAS UNSURE BUT IT DID NOT SMELL RIGHT !! The waiter was nice she offered to get the manager we said thank you when she went to tell the manager what was going on as she was saying it to him his face was frowned like attitude wise so my wife was like o he about to come and be nasty . She was right soon as he got to the table he was like yessss in a sassy nasty way . My wife was like something smells bad on this omelette maybe it’s the cheese HE SAYS IN A VERY LOUD AND SASSY NASTY WAY NO WAY ITS THE CHEESE WE JUST GOT A TRUCK . So I instantly jumped in as I am a general manager of a restaurant first no one’s cares you got a truck in one because things can be bad on a truck or the cheese was not fronted we can not control what’s comes on a truck dates can be right but things can be bad so that was not our business . AS A MANGER OF ANY ESTABLISHMENT HE SHOULD HAVE SAID MY APOLOGIES LET ME CHECK INTO THAT NOT I KNOW ITS NOT THAT AND RUDE THEN WALKS OFF GOES TO THE FRONT OF THE IHOP WITH 10 customers in there talking loud saying we can leave I offered this I offered that THE WAITER WAS walking back towards us saying I am so sorry I am so sorry I said it’s not your fault you have to deal with manger that is unprofessional. He then tells me to get out . I did not get TO finish my food at all after he was yelling at me from the front of the I hop while I was at the back . He was very rude and sassy . I have the whole thing on video I was on live when this situation happened. Some places wonder why business and sales are down you have to know who you are placing in management positions some people are not leaders and some are just there for money not for the establishment and money it’s a different. If this is a franchise I hop corporate will not like this type of behavior especially with management team that is the face of I hop the video can be viewed because my wife did eat a couple bits of her omelette hopefully she does not get sick because he know nothing was bad because they just got a truck in , and my anxiety hit the roof because he was yelling at me with customers in the esblishment making me feel a certain way that’s not a good look either . I will be going through the chain of command about this situation . You never know who is who in your restaurant especially when this is a world wide chain restaurant. I could be apart of the upper management team that is over a franchise company . Franchise companies has to answer to corporate to even carry their name corporate does not just make visits...
