First let me say I have been going to this Bojangles for years and I have noticed a decline not only in the food but in the service. Todays visit broke the camel's back. It started at the drive thru. The person taking my order was rude and cut me off way prior to me finishing my order. After ordering 2 biscuits I noticed the new chicken sandwich and attempted to order one. The person young man taking my order said "we dont have the bochicken sandwich" and immediately said my total. I get it. Its busy and you dont have time for conversation but I wasn't finished with my order. (That was a clue I should have drove off) Driving to the pick up window I saw a hand written sign that said no add ons. It looked like my granddaughter wrote it in crayon. I guess that means if you forgot something to bad? This is a professional business not a lemonade stand. When I arrived at the window picking up my order like I always do I told the young lady "Thank you" each time she handed me my food. She responded "yea" or something else never you are welcome. When I arrived at home my biscuit was horrible. The bread was hard like the biscuit was made yesterday. My wife took a bite of her chicken and egg biscuits and said "please never go back there" I know this is a fast food resturant which probably hires alot of kids but an adult should be supervising. It doesnt take alot to be nice and I will not even talk about how bad the food was. I have had my order wrong at chic fila but everyone was so nice I let it go. I will say the borounds and sweet tea were excellent. This is the Bojangles located in Hampton on Mercury Blvd. I visited the store on Sat Aug 28th at around 11am. From now on I will stop at Hardee's which is closer or drive to York County where I have never had bad food or service. F- Bojangles. Get...
Read moreI'm not sure who is responsible for this, to be honest. I came in the drive through line around 16:07 and when I got to the terminal around 16:17, after watching everyone in front of me drive off because nobody was answering them. At 16:22 I went ahead and just waited behind the car thats in the drive thru window getting their food. Then im told I need to go inside because there are only 2 people inside. So I go inside and place my order and it is now 16:33 and I'm still waiting on my order. It looks like this location is either severely short staffed or just managed inadequately. Or maybe both.
Either way, if you guys need anyone to help train whoever is managing this location, let me know.
These locations should have 1 wrap, 1 biscuits, 1 chicken, 1 drive through, 1 front line and 1 shift leader at all times. Staffing won't be an issue once the reputation is improved.
Drive through times should NEVER get to the 60 to 100 range or above. Outliers happen, however, they should be rare. The lobby should not look like the morning rush aftermath at almost 17:00. There are currently no major sides on the front line. Grits from the morning shift does not belong up front this late in the day.
You are losing out on good business in a phenomenal location due to a horrible reputation. However, you guys have lots of room for improvement.
It is now 16:38 and my order is just now being prepared. Not packaged, not bagged but cooked. I'm projecting to leave with my...
Read moreFood was average for a fast food chain however, the drive thru experience was disappointing. About 5 min. to place the order because I'm waiting on an acknowledgment at the speaker. I pull up to the window to what looked to be a manager training an employee at 5pm rush hour. The trainee attempts to open the window for my payment and the manager slams the window and locks it because they have the drive thru money drawer pulled out to count the money. Waited about 10 more minutes for the cashier to get my pymt and tell me, "6 min. On wings, do you wanna wait or replace'em?" I choose to wait because the wing is my sons favorite piece of the chicken. We wait 15 min. My son asks why are the cars behind us getting chicken. I go in and it's about 7 young women including the manager working. I'm the only person at the register and there are 2 girls standing at the registers while the others are working lack luster like. Mind you another customer from the drive thru had come in twice while we were waiting in the car before I went in. Bottom line, I could have made my own chicken in 30 min. The purpose of a drive thru is convience and my time was inconvienced at Bojangles on Mercury...
