Last week, I had what was legitimately the worst experience here I’ve ever had at any restaurant in my life. Despite the fact that the store claims to be open for takeout from 11 to 5, with both google, the Wendy’s mobile app and a sign on the door to the restaurant stating otherwise, yet they kept the doors closed. They saw me standing outside and yet they just ignored me. I would’ve been less peeved if they had simply explained that they were closed for takeout, but they thought it would be better to just ignore us. Are we sure adults are running this place and not children? At this point, I would’ve just left and gone somewhere else, but I had already paid for my meal on the app, and my name appeared on their order screen that I could see from outside. They made my order, put it in the complete section, and then… nothing. They just stood there as I waited for my food they already made… for 45 minutes. 45 minutes of standing out in the hot, beaming sun. After around 30 mins of waiting, one employee finally came to the door (after we kept knocking, they definitely were not going to come if we just waited) with an attitude as if we were in the wrong. I could not understand what she was saying since she refused to even slightly open the door for some inane reason, and after that she continued ignoring us. I finally got my food after 45 mins of waiting, but I had to WALK through the DRIVE TROUGH to get it! Before giving me my food, the manager has the audacity to say that we “need to listen”, seriously? You guys ignore us for the better half of an hour and tell US we need to listen? Besides this one incident, the location is very slow and the staff are incredibly rude. Every single manager and employee here is beyond the help of retraining; they need to be fired and replaced. Do not spend your money here if you value your time, energy, and dignity. I will be talking about this on Twitter as well, injustices like this cannot be...
Read moreHorrible and unprofessional manager at this establishment. I ordered fresh "no salt" fries with my meal via my Wendy's mobile app.
However, upon approaching the window to pay for my order the cashier handed me my bag. After examining it, I tasted them, and immediately asked the cashier can I please have some "no salt" fries.
The cashier informed me that it'll be a few minutes to cook them, and I told her I'd wait. After the fries were given to me, I noticed the fries were not fresh. From my understanding, the "manager" supposedly cooked my fries. I was instructed to drive around to the front door of the restaurant.
This is where the drama comes in. The manager abruptly opens the front door of the restaurant and yells across the breezeway to my car and said, "What's wrong with the fries? I told her they were not fresh. She said, (in a authoritative and argumentative voice).
"The fries are fresh because I dropped them!" I failed to get into a back-and-forth verbal hollering match with her, so I told her to keep the fries. I immediately drove off and decided to file a complaint against this manager. However, my grievance with this manager, and its store personnel have fallen on deaf ears.
This manager missed the mark in terms of maintaining the integrity of thr Wendy's brand; she fails to maintain a professional decorum between restaurant staff, customers, and the like. Your employees are a direct reflection of you. In order for this restaurant to survive and thrive, management needs to improve quality control in the...
Read moreRan out of eggs, which is fine, it happens. But instead of asking us if we'd like to order lunch instead, the woman at the drive through just talked over us repeatedly telling us they were out of eggs and ignored my mother in law telling her 3 times not to put cheese on the breakfast burrito she ordered. Did not read our order back to us to make sure she got it right, seemed combative right off the bat. At the drive through window they said they ran out of eggs an hour ago and chose not to make anymore which kind of implied that they did have more eggs they just didn't want to make them, and that's fair if its near the end of breakfast hours and they don't want to waste them but they could have just moved on to lunch and they didn't. Eventually got the food and opened up the burrito after we already left to find they put cheese on it despite her clearly telling them 3 times no cheese. Spent 24 dollars on breakfast for us and the only part she was able to eat was the fries. The breakfast baconators were cold, the fries were good but there was no sauce. Needs better management and need to listen to customers better. Full staff and they weren't busy so they should have been able to...
