As the name implies, Hampton Stationery is a great place to find beautiful papers and writing implements - but it is also a great source for office furniture! I recently shopped for a new desk chair to be more comfortable now that I'm working from home. The whole upstairs of the shop features dozens of sample chairs, and the staff made me feel very welcome while I played Goldilocks and tried just about every one. And what a pleasure to browse fabric swatches and pick out just what I wanted! This is a level of customer service that simply cannot be duplicated by shopping online. Janice and Randa were the absolute best to work with! They helped me from start to finish with wedding invitations and they turned out perfectly! I’m a very traditional person so I didn’t want to mess this up (quality is everything). They both walked me through the process, and we discussed what I was looking for. Wish there was more of an assortment of fountain pens, as I did not see many in the displays. Sure there were some Pelikans (M205,M400), but I didn't see many others. I did see alot of cheaper starter type pens (Pilot Kakuno/varsity, Pelikan Pelicano) and many ball point/roller ball. Guess I'm spoiled to some of the other places I've been in the country where there is ink lining the walls and many fountain pens on display. It is a nice store though, I did enjoy just walking thru, just didn't see anything that I would buy as an avid fountain...
