Is it possible to rate a zero star? I'm sorry but I had the worst restaurant experience possible. As Murphy's Law states: "everything that can go wrong, will go wrong." Let's take it from the start. When my party walked in, there were only two cooks and two server's for a Saturday night. The first sign that this place was a nightmare was the fact that the waitress asked if we were "the reservation." They clearly do not get very many reservations. The next issue was that they had a severe lack of menus, surprising because the place had a total of about 20 people in it, including my party. After we had placed our order, it was expected that we would receive our salads before our food, but actually a few members got salads while I received my food, and I got my salad about 15 minutes later. I ordered the manicotti but received a very soupy version of such so I decided to poor the excess liquid into my cup that was used for dressing. A majority of the pasta that was ordered, came out cold as if it was taken out of the refrigerator, put on a plate, and served. After multiple orders were reheated, we discovered that it was very less than mediocre food. If you are a vegetarian but warned, the "marinara" was actually meat sauce, which ended up needing to be exchanged because of the vegetarian in my party. Two members in my party actually walked across the street to Milly's because they wanted a real meal! The one bonus of this restaurant was that the waitress accidentally wrote down an extra order of spaghetti so my friend that will eat everything but than the kitchen sink, received a second meal. Walked away from this restaurant with a stomach ache and the thought that I could run a restaurant better than that. Maybe I should nominate this restaurant for the tv series: "Restaurant: Impossible," but I do not even know if he (Chef Robert Irving) will be able to...
Read moreWe sat down at 6:40 on a Saturday night. It was clear that they had a large party coming in, but that was not mentioned to us. There were 2 or 3 other tables filled at the time. We ordered an appetizer (took 20 minutes) and 2 entrees. We finished the appetizer, and then 10 minutes later were asked by a waitress (not ours) if we had also ordered food. At that point, we needed to leave in 25 minutes. We said yes, and I waited another 15 minutes for my salad. At that point, we asked for our entrees to be boxed up, as we had to leave. We then waited another 20 minutes for our entrees. When the check came, we were charged a "non-cash adjustment", despite the fact that we paid in cash.
When we got home and finally ate our food, my husband's sandwich had peppers on it (he specifically chose something without peppers because they don't agree with him at all). The sandwich also was 75% bread with very little substance. My baked potato did not have the butter or sour cream...
Read moreMy daughter loves coming here for the spaghetti every time we come visit the Copper Country! My mom went here when she was younger and said the recipe for their spaghetti hasn't changed since they opened and the waitress confirmed this. It brought her back to her childhood as soon as she took her first bite! The club sandwich, spaghetti, and meatball sandwich were all what we ordered and they were delicious! Even the side salad was yummy! We go here at least once because my daughter raves about it when we're back home! The service is quite slow, but we are on vacation so we just enjoyed each other's company and the waitress was very kind and gave us a discount. We were there 2 hours, but it was ok. There was only 1 cook and the waitress, but she was helping him in the back. They are very friendly and welcoming! If you have time, I would definitely...
