Tried this restaurant on a recent trip through Va. The waitress was nice and efficient, the food we got was wrong, not her fault! Within 2 min of ordering the manager showed up with someone else's order for our table, he accepted it wasn't ours. When the first part of our order did arrive, he informed us it was what I ordered, having not been there I wasn't sure what the dish would look like, I started eating, he showed up with my friends order and it should have been mine, he had mixed them up. His solution was just swap plates, I hadn't eaten much and they were really busy. The waitress came out and asked if I wanted to swap orders. I told her I would eat it as I had already started and it was ok with me. She went back with the other order and put in another order for fajitas which was what he had ordered and they had given me. The manager came out and said they could remake it, but it would be a really long wait to make the order, they were just too busy in the kitchen. So we cancelled the order. What I ate of the food was good. We tried to talk to the manager and he came out and even though he was the one that misidentified the order to begin with, he was too busy and he couldn't talk to us. We couldn't even get his name. I understand being busy but when you made the mistake, fix it. Don't just say we're too busy I can't help you. Being busy...
Read moreStaff was friendly and food was served quickly. The place is clean but that's the only good things I can say. I had eaten there a couple years ago with my daughter and food was excellent. Not sure what has happened, but I ate there today with my boyfriend and was terribly disappointed. The food tasted fine, but servings were VERY small and the consistency of everything was pretty much like cream of wheat. Our Burritos were basically a rolled up flour tortilla with a with a smear of filling. the Refried Beans were the consistency of applesauce and the Guacamole totally pureed to mush. The Chile Relleno .... well I am not sure how they can even call it that. It consisted of pureed ground beef covered with Queso and a 2x2 inch square of some type of bland green pepper. The Chile is probably my favorite Mexican dish - I've eaten Mexican Cuisine from Maine to Florida and Delaware to Denver - and THAT is NOT how they are prepared! Lastly the Queso dip was as thin as half and half and the Salsa (if you can call it that) was little more than ground up tomatoes, no visible (or detectable) Cilantro, Onion, or peppers (hot or otherwise). I will NOT eat there again - If not for the Beer and Chips we'd have...
Read moreMy mother in law was visiting from Ohio and wanted Mexican. We had 5 guests at our table. The young waiter, didn’t seem to interested in our table. We went without drinks, was brought out cold white cheese, had to ask several times for the refill of chips. (we paid for multiple baskets) My daughter ordered 2 chicken tacos, no tomato. She specifically told him chicken, cheese, lettuce. Everyone’s food came but hers. 10 mins later hers comes... with beef tacos with tomatoes. She tells him “I ordered chicken tacos with no tomato.” He then says no you didn’t. As her mom, I spoke up and yes she did. She specifically told you “chicken, cheese, lettuce”. He then tell me to “CHILL OUT”. I mean what waiter tells a customer who’s paying $100 to eat to chill out when they mess up, and then tell my daughter she didn’t and she did. I then gave him a reason to say “chill out”. Once he comes back, it’s still wrong, chicken tacos with tomatoes. By this time everyone else is almost done. Manager comes over, says nothing when I tell him what happened but walks alway with my daughters food. Hers finally comes, we pay for everything and leave. A random waiter apologized to us, nothing from the manager....
