Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Harrisonburg

Second time visiting (out of towner here visiting family) Tropical Smoothie located in Harrisonburg just off 33. This location seemed slightly overwhelmed by the little volume that was in the store (3 people) I'm sure the drive thru and curbside/ call ahead orders were keeping them busy. I typically order the Chicken Bacon Ranch Flatbread with Apple Kale Slaw and Triple Berry Oat smoothie. I opted to dine in due to feeding my 16 month old. Everything tasted fine. However, while eating I noticed the girl wearing the head set, Sara (not sure of the spelling) approach a gentleman working there. She loudly and aggressively asked him where his visor/hat was. He calmly replied to her that this situation has already been handled with management. She insisted on poking at him, attacking if you will all while you could tell he didn't not want this confrontation from her. I'm not going into great deal of the exchange between the two but as someone who has worked with the public, in the restaurant/food industry, hospitality, managed etc you name it I've done it, I was completely taken back by the way this girl handled this employee. She should not be in a place of supervising or managing (I'm not even sure what her place is). The way she talked to this gentleman was far more offensive than he not wearing his full uniform. Perhaps she should to take a course on how to properly handle and approach people/employees. Starting with pulling others to the side or in an office to address issues or concerns. Not in the eye of the public who are trying to enjoy their meal with family...

If I could I would give it 0 stars. I started going to this tropical cafe because it’s closer to my house and the one on port road gets absolutely slammed at times with all the college students. I have never had a pleasant experience at this location and the experience I had today was awful. I pulled into the drive thru a little after 11 and was the only car there. I ordered one smoothie and pulled up to the window. I sat outside the window for 5 mins before the employee even opened it. When she did, she didn’t say a word to me. I handed her my card, she handed it back, handed me my smoothie and I left. All of that without ONE SINGLE WORD. She didn’t tell me “hi”, she didn’t tell me my total, she didn’t say “thank you”, she didn’t tell me to have a good day. I have never had someone be so rude to me without actually saying anything to me. Also, even though I have waited much much longer at both locations before, I feel that 5 mins for one smoothie when I am the only car there is a bit much. If it takes that long to make a smoothie, she could have greeted me, let me know that it would be a minute, and went from there. I used to go to tropical cafe multiple times a week. I will never go back to this location. I guess I will have to wait until the college kids leave on break to go to...

We ordered three three cheese chicken quesadillas and pulled over to eat them and realized no chicken was in the quesadillas, it was no big deal pulled around and said we ordered chicken quesadillas and no chicken was in the quesadillas. And after replacing food she stated next time if we eat the food she can’t replace it, I proceeded to explain that the end piece was small and didn’t realize it, after that piece ate the second piece out of 4 pieces and realized there was no chicken and she just kept interrupting me saying if we eat the food next time she won’t replace it. And so I asked for her name and she gave me her name and said report me if you’d like hope you have a HORRIBLE DAY BYE. Then I called the manager the next morning and explained what happened and she said she would have a talk with her and asked me if my food was replaced and I said yes but I never ate it because of how hostile she was I didn’t feel comfortable eating it and I would send pictures if I needed to, long story short she didn’t...
