Well I wanted to like it. Meal took an hour to prepare and they're not that busy. 4 parties of two were there. Other people ordered after us (ok everyone who was there after us got their food before us ...some a half hour later) ... We wanted to eat on their outdoor tables -covid- so ended up with to go boxes trying to cut a steak on foam with a plastic tiny knife ... I didn't order to go I said I wanted to eat at outside tables.
I ordered the grilled steak and chorizo .. it was given to another in my group . Waiter assured me it was not mine ... but it was. I got bizteck "steak" which was tough like under cooked potroast and gristled. Pros: The food is definitely delicious, we ordered a little bit of everything, everything is freshly made, tortillas are real corn and not Maseca (thank you for that!), the bread is delicious, both sweet and savory (real Guatemalan style/taste), the place is cute and I am glad to see that they are super busy! (We ordered churrasco, Guatemalan breakfast, enchiladas, coffee, hot chocolate, breakfast sandwich and took home chiles rellenos and lots of bread!) Make sure you ask for the special of the day!!
Cons: Because everything is freshly made and they are super busy (well, we went Sunday morning) the service is a bit slow, please plan ahead and just enjoy your coffee while you await to enjoy some deliciousness (order coffee and a bread as an appetizer to open up your appetite!).

The coffee was simple but great, too. Next time I hope to grab the flan or tres leches. After tasting the food I’m sure the treats are just...
