Review of $15 weekend lunch buffet from an Indian:

tl;dr: comes with either a glass of champagne, or bottomless soft drinks (my Sprite was low on syrup). It's a good value, if all you're looking for is some good meat and "exotic foods". Solid goat and chicken tika curry. Really good garlic naan, clean dining room, and great staff. If you value service and a few good Indian buffet staples, and you don't plan on trying every dish, it's a 4/5.

Here's the real scoop. From one Indian to another, the yellow dal is as bland as a yellow dal can get. Appetizer pakoras were stale and chunky, and the lack of raita was disappointing. Cold and hard gulabjamun in a thin weak syrup base. Curry pakora was too intense, and rice was undercooked. Even the aloo gobi was spiced incorrectly. Tandoori chicken was pretty solid, but all signs point to it being a Pakistani owned and designed resturant, not a North Indian one or anything of the sort (if that's what you were looking for). July 12th was my middle daughter Shara’s birthday and she wanted Indian food. It was all of our 1st time at this restaurant. The staff were friendly and attentive and helpful and followed all Covid protocols for safety. They gave great recommendations for food choices. We were adventurous and tried lots of delicious dishes like the Marinated Chicken Wings Tandoori style cooked in a clay oven, the Raita, Lamb Vindaloo, Assorted Appetizers Alu Samosa, Pakora, Fish Pakora and Onion Bhaji and Chicken Seekh Kabobs minced chicken mixed with onions, bell peppers spiced and herbs, Shrimp & Lamb Biryani a Basmati Rice cooked with onions, ginger, cashews, herbs and spices, it was a elegant nice presentation of all our food and delicious! The staff had great customer service and should be applauded for their customer service and friendliness! I ate at this place for many years. Then all of a sudden they got 2 of my orders wrong. One order came up to a $140, and they didn't do anything to help replace my order. Another order came to another $40 that was also wrong they did not do anything to remedy the situation at all. These people are lucky I gave them one star, only reason for is because though the food tastes good and the presentation is nice they do not understand English nor do they put the pictures on the website. So I have no way of knowing what I'm getting! I have been around the world and have tasted many foods. But but this place really made me mad! What's funny is they have Halal in their title but nothing is Halal from my point of view. I'm hurt and outright angry.
