By far the worst pizza I have ever had and the worst experience at a restaurant. We walked in because we have been to Midici in Studio City multiple times and love I there so we thought we would have the same experience here since it was on our way back home from visiting friends in the southbay.. we walked in and thought the place was closed as there was absolutely no one in site (should have seen this as the first red flag).. there was a guy working there but he did not even acknowledge us at all.. he walked around annoyed doing other stuff.. we waited at the register for a few minutes before he finally, reluctantly asked us what we wanted to order. We placed our order and a few minutes in he plopped our pizza in front of us. The vegan garlic bread was OK, the pizza was terrible. Completed loaded with toppings as if they just half assedly threw them on there and didn't even fully cooked it. Mine was a vegan sausage pizza that I have had at the other location, it looked so unappealing and undercooked that I did not try it. My husband tried a piece of my vegan sausage and he said it was frozen inside. His pizza he said was underdone and bland. We left an a few minutes later I felt sick which only happens when my food is cross contaminated with dairy as I have an allergy... We will NEVER stop by this spot again.. they are giving Midici Pizza a bad rep with their mid pizza 🤢 I would highly suggest you don't stop by here until they get someone who knows what they are doing. If you want to try good pizza, go to the one in...

Detailed/Honest Review incoming:

Went in today on June 28th, 2021 craving some Calzone personally, the Gentleman behind the counter taking my order was patient & very helpful, ordered the Margherita Base for the Calzone with Sparkling Water & 2 scoops of Gelatto (Chocolate & Vanilla Flavors)

The Calzone was Wondeful and very big in serving size, slightly "burnt" spots" but very lightly crunchy outside and soft interior due to the juices of the ham, chicken and pineapple as well as the Marinara sauce that was provided in a small container with the meal, The mix of the meats and pineapple as well as the Sauce made for a wonderful tastey flavor combo, and very fulfilling without making you feel drowsy and sleepy (as least in my experience)

The gelato was definitely delicious, even the vanilla, and this coming from someone who isn't even the biggest fan of the Vanilla flavor, as well as the chocolate.

The ONLY negative/feedback I'd personally say is I'd wish they would have separate metal/silverware spoons for the gelato since they came to me frozen and with regular plastic spoons, it wasn't that big of a deal i just let them melt a little, but still, some honest criticism

Overall a very well kept and welcome environment and modern decor, with friendly staff

Definitely a little pricey but i will say i believe in you get what you pay for, and i paid about $24 (with a tip) for a wonderful Calzone and delicious Gelato dessert, so it was worth it imo, keep doing...

Came in this evening to a spot that I been having in my heart as I was one a member to Medici. My wife and I were very happy to visit a pizza restaurant that has upscale proteins as I remember. And ordered the double pepperoni pizza and the Spicy BBQ wings. As I recall the procedure was to pe-bake and finish them off in the fryer. Built was, wings fries with carrots celery and your choice of dressing. I guess I was too excited to be back in the restaurant that I use to know that I did not notice that they did not ask what type of dressing did I wanted. Got home open the pizza. It was delicious. A little undercooked but not to less to have a great taste of the Saice and the pepperoni and sausage that I added. Wings were next to open and to see that there was no fries!?! The only side was “carrots”. The carrots were too out dated to the point that we’re not fresh and discolored. No celery by the way…. Wings were not well done like I had hoped they would be. As I ask to be wel well done. Thinking of what I’m writing on this review and all I think about is how it was when it first opened before the pandemic. I do hope to visit back in this new year and maybe have a better experience. Thank you for your time on reading my experience. And just hope that someone would take the chance and actions to go back to how it was on good tasting.

Atmosphere was nice , but the dinning tables...

The overall experience that we encountered here was absolutely horrible. This restaurant was recommended by the Marriott hotel. We arrived as soon as they opened at 11AM and the door was locked. The young guy just looked at us and took his precious time to unlock the door and turn on the open sign. We were not greeted when we walked in. We sat ourselves at the bar and waited around 3 mins before he even said anything to us. He then told us that if we wanted to order something we needed to get up and come to the register. The pizza that we ordered had to be remade due to the oven not been cleaned the night before. The first time it was made he said that the oven scorched it. The second time it was made it was missing toppings, so they took it upon themselves to just add the toppings on top of the cooked pizza. We were served yet another scorched pizza. At this point, we were so highly dissatisfied and upset with the service received from the young male that opened the door with an attitude and acted like he did not want to be at work and even took multiple deep breaths as others entered the restaurant. I would not recommend this poor of an excuse restaurant to anyone.
