WaBa Grill — Restaurant in Hawthorne

Employees always rude, they try to overcharge any way possible. You have to check your receipt. Food is ok, sometimes dry but good healthy choice........ it's March 2019, gotta say..... gave up on this place. Everytime the lady in this picture has serious problems. She over charges everytime she gets a chance and trains the others to do so. She tagged me and starts her comments to others as I walked in, others look at me and my family like we are evil. When I haven't even said anything to her. Tried to be extra polite but no deal, she's mean, rude and just awful experience everytime!!!!! This is without a doubt one of the worst Waba Grill's in the area. My husband was trying to order a steak bowl and the cashier ( a Latina lady in her 40's/50's) was VERY RUDE not just to us but to other customers as well. What's worse is she was had the audacity to be rude to paying customers but had the time to kiss her boyfriend who seemed to be one of the cooks. I find that unprofessional especially when you have 4 customers waiting for their orders.

Do yourself a favor save your money folks. Go to a place where they respect you and don't keep you waiting out of pettiness.

Better restaurants to go to in the Hawthorne area include: Golden Bowl, Maui Teriyaki, Waikiki Hawaiian Grill and Huli Huli...

I'm very upset with myself for not turning right back out and driving 3.9 miles or so to the next spot..note to self DON'T DO THAT AGAIN..the place was a mess the floor and tables needed cleaning but the two mature Spanish speaking employees didn't think it was necessary apparently because I told both that the floors needed attention but nobody did anything then in walks a customer and picked up a couple of items off the floor..ooh k then the female staff worked the register and didn't wash or place gloves on before handling food..I'm fed up with dirty eatery places for real. Also the cooking area looks as though they are cooking on make shift oversized hot plates..hmmmm please keep...
