I used to go out of my way to visit this Starbucks because everyone was so pleasant and welcoming. I recently moved closer to this location and frequently stop by as it's close to the freeway.
However, I've had a few interactions that left me very uncomfortable, and now I try to avoid this location or order via mobile and leave as quickly as possible.
The problem lies with one of the managers. I've called Starbucks on three separate occasions, but nothing has ever been done about it.
An example of the issue occurred when I brought my water bottle and asked for it to be filled. The barista began filling my (clean) water bottle, but then the manager instructed the barista to return my bottle and wash his hands immediately because "you never know what kind of germs a person has." After the barista washed his hands, he gave me a regular Starbucks cup. This has happened several times at this location. How are we reducing waste if we can't use reusable cups? Interestingly, this is the only location where this has occurred. When I asked for a Trenta cup, I was told I could not have one, but instead, I could ask for two venti cups to fill my water bottle. 🤦♀️
To hear "you never know what kind of germs a person has" in front of me is just rude. My cup was clean! This is just one example of many concerning incidents involving this manager. I don't usually complain much, but when you feel uncomfortable about visiting a place you frequent and nobody listens, I guess posting a review is all you can do.
I will add that most.of the other baristas are lovely and I enjoy their welcoming spirit. However, there's definitely a different vibe when the one...
Read moreMy friend Barbara P. And I had a venti cup of coffee each, and after we seat for about 45 minutes chatting, she left to attend business, I went inside to get a refill, and I ordered a ice green tea for my refill, this Black lady said sorry you had to buy this coffee at the store, and I said we bought it here, I said my friend who just left bought it for me and I have my app to get the refill paid for, ( I have been a gold member since the program started back in 2003-2007 I don’t remember when exactly, but it’s been a long time) so I told the cashier Miss I never been told that before when I get my refills, I actually just say I am doing a refill and I been told what would you like for your refill, and what size do I want. This lady made me feel embarrassed which it is hard for someone to make me feel this way, specially if I am wearing my Armani suit and Gucci tie 😫😂 and my Magnani shoes lol! Just kidding, but honestly this lady does not represent Starbucks for what is known for, going forward with the review, I said you know what forget it, let me just have a cup of water, and she said ice or no ice, dang that was the only nice part I heard from her. So 1 ⭐️ maybe 2 ⭐️ cuz she said ice or, no ice 😳😂, I believe this issue can be corrected, give this lady some proper training about customer service, I bet next time if I ever come back to this location I may have a more pleasant experience, but not today….oh by the way so that you don’t think I’m kidding I will place a pic of my shoes just...
Read moreAnother great Starbucks location. The drinks the atmosphere the service, all what you've come to expect from a starbucks experience. My personal order is always a Decaf, iced Americano made with some milk and a Venti ice water. Now we all know that an iced Americano is great, but guys... Don't underestimate the power of a Venti ice water. Let's start with the water. Perfectly cool, filtered through a starbucks standard water filter. This means it tastes the same at locations all around america! But the best part of a Venti ice water... The ice! Second only to chick-fil-a, this ice is frozen, clear and made in a fantastic, flat square shape. It's perfect for keeping the filtered water cool. And when the water is all gone you can crunch on this ice to your hearts content. Starbucks has perfected cold water....
