Teddy's Red Tacos — Restaurant in Hawthorne

So I walk in and I got rude service from jump. Told her it was my first time here and was excited to try it and her attitude was just OFF!!! Furthermore I asked for hot sauce on the side(since when she asked me did I want it on there fast as hell I couldn’t understand what she said) when I asked for it on the side she rudely commented and told me I already said yes to putting it on there as if she couldn’t go back a couple steps and tell the cook sauce on the side. I will never come back to this establishment and plus they have a B!!! Gross!!! I haven’t even tried the food yet( I’m still waiting for it) but I’m really big on customer service and this place will never get my $40.32 again!!! This place has a lot of potential! When I went in at 7pm, the place was empty. Never a good sign but not a deal breaker. I bought two quesabirra tacos straight up. Price came out to just under $7 My initial impression was they're too small! They're served on 4" tortillas, which just leaves you wanting a few more bites. The flavor, however, was great! If they would just switch to a 6" tortilla, I think they would draw more customers. The interior was nicely decorated and clean. The lady who took my order didn't speak great English but between my broken Spanish and her broken English, we worked it out. She was nice and attentive and wanted to make sure I got what I wanted.

I was in Hawthorne for part of my LA vacation and was looking for food recommendations that wasn't just fast food. I saw Teddy's Red Tacos. Some people loved it and some hated it. I went with my gut and gave them a try (though I admittedly had a fast food back up lol). BRUH, the taco was AMAZING, they must've stewed that beef for ages! It was so juicy and flavorful. 😋 Now it was expensive, I got 1 taco and a drink and somehow that ended up being 8.45.
