Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Hayward

Where do I begin?

I visited this location on April 14, 2024, at approximately 8 pm. Upon entering the restaurant, I instantly noticed a young adult male with a hat on. His hair was not in a hair net, nor was it tucked under his hat, which is very unsanitary.

It would not surprise me if his hair, dandruff, and hair follicles fell into customers' food and onto the serving area. DISGUSTING!!!

Before we could approach the front to order our food, a young adult female approached us and asked to take our order.

Before making our order, I asked if she could wipe the dirty food preparation area, and she instantly caught an attitude as if I was asking her to do something other than her job 👎🏾👎🏾

Once she wiped the food prep area (mind you, she did not do a good job), she stated that she didn't know what she was doing because she was the cashier. Very disappointing!! To be clear, she became the cashier when she did not like being asked to do her job.

She then switched places with the adult male whose hair was not covered. Curls were falling from underneath.

At this point, I'm sure disappointment was written all over my face as I was uncomfortable and should have left without purchasing any food.

He took my child order and then walked over to the cash register to ring her up. Keep in mind he's wearing the food preparation gloves. He then came back to make my order without switching his gloves.

NASTY AND UNSANITARY!!!

When asked to change his gloves, he gave so much attitude. The DISRESPECT!!

Our first time at this Chipotle May 13, 2024. The young girl who was making the food had a SERIOUS ATTITUDE PROBLEM. Asked for extra meat and she put a hairline piece of meat and told the cashier it has extra meat 🤨nope not today. Barbacoa beef was REALLY SALTY and had TO MUCH CUMIN. Other meats looked dried out. Chips were stale got another bag and they were stale also. We were told they were made this morning 🤔Restaurant was Dirty we cleaned the table we ate at. I hate to say when the bathroom is cleaner than your restaurant something wrong. I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK. EAT THERE AT YOUR OWN RISK...... Needs Complete Overhaul. Parking...

I actually had my order delivered to me. This is my second time ordering from this location, and the first order was better. I had a steak bowel, and the steak was chewy, and everything was cold. I had a side of chips and guacamole, and the chips were stale, with no flavor, and the guacamole was not like any of the guacamole that I had at other locations. Based on how it was prepared, the employees do not care about their work to serve food not so tasty. This location's customer service is lacking. The steak pieces were very large. I wouldn't recommend this Chipotle location, you could get better tasting...
