Last night my son and went to CV and before I write this understand that I owned 3 CVs so I kinda know what to look for. When we went in the person on lead had just served some Queso and spilled it all over the sides of the cup…still served it to the guest. Then took some paper towel and wiped his gloves off and never changed them and still served us. MAJOR VIOLATION! Then once our burritos came thru the impinger (oven on a track) someone from the drive thru line grabbed our food and gave it away to the drive thru customers (who knows if they like their burritos like us??? Once I got my burrito smothered with medium sauce, I could taste the sourness in the veggies - that means the veggies were under cooked in the preparation of the sauce.
Over all, this was comparable to a Cafe Rio experience which I refuse to eat at Cafe Rio…yuck. I understand this time is difficult to find help, but they must get experienced people on lead to ensure a guests first impression is good, then fox a host of other things….it’ll be awhile before I go back. There are better burritos in Heber for a much better value. Sad CV, my heart and stomach was with you but I’ve...
Read moreWorst costa vida experience ever. The tables inside were all dirty. Not a single clean table to be able to sit down and enjoy a meal together as a family. They had to scrape the edges of the pan of rice to try and slide by for the items we ordered. I barely had enough money to pay for our family to enjoy a meal together as things are really tight for us right now after a hard days work. And then my lil guy dumped his entire meal on the ground as a rude grown man completely walked right into him and never so much as offered an apology or anything. So his dinner was all over the ground to add to the nastiness and mess of the place. Nobody offered to replace his meal or help clean it up or anything. So I ended up giving him my meal and going without because that’s what moms do. The rice in all of the meals was dry and crunchy and so nasty and not even edible. We won’t be coming here ever again and I’m sure it will go under soon enough just like the vernal location did and several other locations have as well. They should’ve have told us and all the people in line behind us they were out of rice because I would have left and gone...
Read moreI have always said that Heber will arrive when we have a Costa Vida. Since it’s opening these last few weeks, I have been gifted with and saved for precious dinners and treats. I discovered that the option to order online for pick up is INFINITELY cheaper than the delivery service and had a lovely friend grab me my favorite enchiladas. Since beans are against my personal taste religion, I blame texture, I swap them out for pico de gallo. Unfortunately, some of my requests were not in the bag. I am disabled and without transportation at this time, so I hesitated to call. I did anyway. This lovely, happy voice not only said he would be there in minutes but was bringing me a dessert for my troubles…MY troubles??!! That voice was Brian. Not only Brian, but Brian-the-Owner-Brian, who showed up at my house out of the way, and was so very genuine and generous and will forever have my business. GO TO COSTA VIDA. NOW. A LOT. Heber…we...
