Crazy Goodies — Restaurant in Heber

I visited this establishment a couple of months ago and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. When I first tried to order, I felt ignored, and once I was able to order, the interaction felt dismissive. I had to repeat my order several times to be understood, even though I was speaking Spanish. I felt as if I was not wanted there. I didn’t say anything at the time, assuming it might just be an off day for the staff.

More recently, my sister told me she went with her group and had a similarly negative experience. According to her, one of her friends felt they were receiving attitude and noticed eye-rolling from the employee after being asked to clarify the order. She told me this happened despite her friend making an effort to communicate in Spanish after another employee had trouble understanding. She also told me that the exchange became tense, and that although she was not directly involved, she was later told through our parents that she was being “disrespectful” and was not welcome back. Considering she is an adult and could have been addressed directly, I found it both odd and unprofessional to handle it that way.

While I respect a business’s right to refuse service, both my own experience and what I’ve been told about my sister’s visit have left me too disappointed to return.

I want to be very clear: I have not lied about my or my sister’s experiences. These are honest accounts of what we felt and were told.

That said, it remains highly unprofessional and inappropriate to involve an adult’s parents to deliver accusations instead of addressing her directly. This kind of behavior shows a lack of respect and proper communication, which only added to our disappointment.

If there are concerns about any behavior, those should be handled transparently and respectfully with the person involved, not through third parties. I hope you take this feedback seriously to improve how you treat your customers...

I recently visited this establishment with friends and experienced a series of issues that left me extremely disappointed. One of my friends kindly paid for my order, which was supposed to be Doritos nachos. Instead, I received just a bag of Doritos. When I tried to clarify the order with the employee who handed it to me, she began speaking in Spanish in a dismissive manner, seemingly assuming I couldn't understand her.

Following this, the owner's daughter approached me, and her behavior was even more appalling. When I explained what I originally wanted, she rolled her eyes and displayed an attitude that was completely uncalled for. When I questioned her reaction, she became argumentative and told me I was "banned" from the store. This was all over a simple misunderstanding. And to top it all off, One of the friends I was there with her sister got contacted not even 10 minutes later after visiting the store about what just occurred and she also got informed that we were all banned which is also unprofessional spreading information like that to other people when we are all grown adults..

I know the owners who have served me before, and I am certain they would not have reacted in such an unprofessional manner. I sincerely hope someone addresses this issue and provides their daughter with proper training in customer service and professionalism if she is going to be working...

I had such an amazing experience at Crazy Goodies, a wonderful Mexican sweet treat shop! From the moment I stepped inside, the vibrant colors and authentic aromas instantly transported me to a traditional Mexican candy market. The selection of sweets is incredible from classic tamarind candies and spicy mango treats, etc. What really stood out to me, beyond the delicious products, was how the staff handled a difficult situation with incredible calm and professionalism. When an aggressive, angry customer came in yelling out profanity towards the employees, one of the employees responded politely and patiently, never losing their composure or letting the situation affect the atmosphere. Their kindness and respect made it clear that customer care is a top priority here. They also answered all my questions patiently and offered great recommendations based on my tastes. Every item I tried was fresh, flavorful, and made with obvious care. Crazy Goodies perfectly combines authentic Mexican flavors with friendly, positive service, making it a must-visit spot for anyone looking to indulge in unique and delightful sweets.
