Came in with family to have breakfast the morning after a long day rafting the river and doing fun things in Helen as we were very hungry and wanted something to give us energy. We always like Huddle House in other locations so we figured this would be a good start to our day. When we got there about 10am there was a line, or not actually a line, but a gaggle of people waiting to get seats as it was crowded. There was no one to take our name or anyone else's waiting so people were just walking in in front of other people waiting and sitting down. We told the server that she should be taking names and seating people in order and she said it was too much trouble, so after helping the people in front of us find a table we finally muscled our way to our own table, which was dirty. We had to wait about 20 minutes just to sit, and another 5 for someone to come clean our table. (This was on a Sunday morning) We ordered and after about 15 minutes our food came. Standard Huddle House fare. Food was prepared ok and server was nice, nothing spectacular. Will return if can't find anywhere else. Will recommend but with caveat to "be prepared for a wait" and don't wait to be seated!

Huddle House: Great People, Cold Everything Else Dropped into Huddle House hoping for some warm comfort food. What I got was... character-building. First, shoutout to the staff — super friendly and doing their best despite being short-staffed. Honestly, they were the highlight of the visit. But from there, things took a turn — straight into the Arctic. The restaurant was freezing. I’m talking "bring a parka and maybe a space heater" kind of cold. I wasn’t sure if I walked into a diner or a walk-in freezer. The food came out fast — which was promising — until I realized it was just as cold as the dining room. My biscuits and gravy arrived with gravy that was refrigerator-temp at best, and the biscuit? That thing could've shattered a windshield. Should’ve gone with the sketchy grits — at least they come with a gamble. In short: great people, terrible temperature control — both in the room and on the plate. Come for the kindness, stay because you’re frozen to the booth. ❤️✌️🥶

Looking for a delicious and satisfying Christmas morning brunch? Look no further than Huddle House - the only active restaurant on Christmas morning. The staff is dedicated to making your experience special, and during my recent visit, I had the pleasure of being served by Julia. She was an absolute delight - fast, efficient, and made sure our coffee cups were filled several times throughout our meal. The omelet Philly cheese steak and MVP dishes were both absolutely delicious. The omelet was perfectly cooked and loaded with tender steak and gooey cheese, while the MVP was a hearty combination of eggs, sausage, and waffle. Apple pie was so delicious and fresh! Overall, I highly recommend Huddle House for anyone looking for a tasty and satisfying Christmas morning brunch. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Don't miss out on this wonderful dining experience!

Horrible experience, took forever to get our food and we have two tables and the second table got their food about 20 minutes after the first

One of our guest ordered some peach lemonade The price was $4.19. The glass was very small and mostly full of ice.

He finished the cup through the meal and the waitress came back, asking him. He wanted a refill which he accepted and then at the end we got the bill and they charged full price for the second drink, and she didn’t mention anything when she asked for a refill that it was not a free.

When we asked the waitress she said oh I thought he read the menu and it said that you have to pay for the 2nd cup, which we didn’t pay attention I felt it was her job to let him know that it was full price for a tiny cup , she didn’t even try to apologize or anything.

We also ordered two patty melts and instead of sautéed onions like a patty melt supposed to have. They just cut up some chunks of onions and threw them on the sandwich.

One of the sandwiches we ordered without cheese, and of course it had all the cheese on it

Two of us had cokes and our glasses were empty. She walked by the table numerous times did not even look or ask if we wanted to refill. I finally asked her and she said yes just a few minutes and after about five minutes, she never came back to the table again I had to take the cup up to the counter to ask another staff to refill for me.

Another one of the in our party ordered to smash burger with no lettuce and no sauce and of course it came with lettuce and sauce.

During a meal, another table of like seven people sat down and something was going on over there cause they were taking food back-and-forth, and the customers weren’t happy and they sent food back to the kitchen

Total disaster would never go...

Went there last night with my wife and toddler son. There was a single waitress and line cook and it wasn’t very busy as it was a Sunday evening. The waitress was expecting and looked like it could happen at any minute!! People started coming in and next thing you know, there are 7 tables with hungry folks. This waitress was flat-out AMAZING! Never once did she complain or give excuses that she was pregnant (which I would have totally bought). She just ran her butt off making sure that everyone had what they needed. Everyone noticed how hard her and the line cook were working and not one person complained about anything. The food was great, the restaurant was spotless and the service was impeccable. I was so very impressed that I gave the waitress a $50 tip and the table next to us gave her $20. I thought that she was going to cry. She could have at any moment just given up and said she couldn’t do it but she powered through and gave all of us a great experience and earned the gratitude and respect of at least 7 tables full of patrons. Huddle House management please take notice of these 2 wonderful employees that you had working the evening of March 24, 2019. Impressive just doesn’t cover their effort enough. BTW...the strawberry shake to-go was freaking...
