On The River Weddings — Attraction in Helen

It was a difficult staying in touch with them. And there's no accual dressing rooms, just bathrooms. Also, there are people tubing right below/behind you. But for a small wedding overall, it was great. There are two women we worked with. One who went over everything with us before the wedding, which was very much appreciated, considering we would have been lost without this information. But, the biggest pro to this establishment would be the woman who takes the pictures. She does not only take beautiful photos, but she is so very kind and patient. She guided the little ones on what to do and when. We were never confused. And somehow, everyone's demeanor seemed to relax once she arrived. I honestly felt as if a friend was there to make sure everything ran smoothly. She made it seem as if everything was going to be perfect no matter what. And I can't thank her enough for that...

I would actually give this 6/5 stars! Savannah is absolutely incredible, I don’t know how she does it. She was so kind, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable! She was able to make our dream wedding a reality, right down to the flaming torches! Our cake was delicious and decorated perfectly, the venue decor and flowers truly surpassed my greatest expectations. She was even able to arrange for some locally sourced peacock feathers and decor to match our witchy phoenix themed wedding! She was so helpful in the creative process of decorating and had so many fantastic ideas and they call came together so well in the end! She went above and beyond to make our day special, even going out and buying umbrellas for all of our guests when it called for rain! I cannot recommend On The River Weddings or Savannah enough. This is just the cutest, little chapel for getting married or for having a reception. It's right in downtown Helen. Out back you are overlooking the Chattahoochee and it is absolutely a pristine beautiful backdrop. We're thinking of using this place for our 20th. Anniversary vow renewal so we stopped by to check it out. The grounds have so much charm. I don't know why anyone would pay an exorbitant fee for having their wedding at a high-priced chapel. This place is lovely and quaint. There's parking right next door. I understand that you can cater in food or have your ceremony there then take your guests to one of the local eateries.
