Watched a customer in the drive thru hand their dog into the window to an employee who handled it while around food and drink. She then passed it back thru the drive thru window to the customer and continued to handle food and drink. She didn't even wash her hands. This violates food/drink handling safety laws and is grossly unsanitary. Update 2/6: To 20 Lyndale Starbucks store management- I already filed a report with Starbucks Customer Service. Your employees who all watched that 1 employee handle/hold and play with a dog inside the drivethru window service area inside the store should be reprimanded for allowing it to happen and not stop it. They all violated state and federal and corporate food handling laws. You have security cameras and can easily view that morning time frame to watch it and identify who that person was (dirty blonde hair in a ponytail, white, glasses, middle aged woman). The working area behind counters is not a petting zoo. The time frame was between 8...
Read moreI used the drive-thru at this location on July 29th. While I was waiting to pay for my order at the window I noticed the female employee further into the store who was preparing food items for customers, she was taking bites of food of her own that she had sitting on the counter directly behind the opening of the food display. She would take a bite and then turn around grab the tongs and a paper sleeve and pull something out of the little oven and then go back to eating. I also watched her wipe her nose three times during this small weight at the window. My drink was not prepared as I ordered and as the ticket detailed. I mentioned something to the girl at the drive-thru window and she looked at me and said I will tell her. I assumed that meant she would tell the woman that was eating that I saw her? Bottom line I won't be returning to this location ever. Both the Target location and our brand new spot on Custer avenue are far more efficient , polite...
Read moreMy husband and I stopped here on our way out of town because they were the only coffee shop open at 5am on the weekends. We got there at 5:15, waited in the drive through for a few minutes but didn't hear from anyone so we just decided to go inside because we figured nobody noticed we were there. There were to women working inside and there was a sign on the front door specifically saying they opened at 5am. We tried to open the door but it was locked. One of the women finally looked up and just threw her hands up in the air at us. Horrible customer service. We can tell they must have just ignored us when we went through the drive through. I would have been fine if they had at least told us over the speaker or came to the door to tell us there were running late, but the response we got was very unprofessional. We drove to a different Starbucks on Vandelay Ave and had great...
