My first visit...…… I was greeted promptly as I walked thru the door from a man behind the counter. That was nice. The signage over the counter led me to where I needed to go and place my order. On my way back I was viewing the large menu board to see what they had. I was still able to view the menu board longer while at the order station even though I was settled on what I was ordering because nobody was there to take it. And while I didn't time it, it took too long for someone to step up and take my order even though the restaurant was almost empty at the time. The folks who came in behind me had better luck because now there was someone there to take their order. So, the service wasn't exactly quick giving me pause on how long it would take if they were busier. Right now I'm not going to let that stop me from another visit. Just have to see how it goes next time. I was given a number after I placed my order. I didn't know exactly what to do after that except to get my drink. Do I stand there or what? So I guessed that I take my number and be seated which ends up to be what is supposed to be done. After being seated for a short period of time I heard my number being called and a man came out with my order. Not a bad system. Food was served hot. YES! I ordered a meatball sub and it was hot, the bread was crisp and crackly. A very good sub indeed. Very tasty. I seen some hot sauce at the counter, a nice selection of it. But no crushed red pepper. The man who appears to be the owner came by and ask how everything was. I did ask about crushed red pepper and he explained that you'd have to order a spicy meatball sub to get it. Now I'll know Overall a pretty good visit. I will definitely return again The menu has allot to offer and I'd like to try more of it. Definitely a step up from the chain sub restaurants...…..

So I finally saw that I had a Firehouse Subs location close to me. My wife and I tried it and were impressed with the inside. Very clean. They greet you when you walk in but having said this, the day we went the 2 guys barely showed interest as they greeted you. The menu is quite easy and it is simple and quick to order your food. The prices are about same as you would find ordering same amount of food at say Subway. What I really like about these guys is they actually donate to emergency services in their areas. Nobody actually donates anything nowadays. I found out though after it all that they have a round up at time of sale which donates everything rounded up to local fire dept. I purchased their 5 gal buckets for 3$ each and 100% of that goes into fire depts so that is awesome and who can't always use another 5 gal bucket? Anyway, I applaud what this company stands for and I will, when chance is there, stop and give them my business. 2 thumbs way up guys.

When I get a craving for a sub, this is the place I think of. The layout is a bit wonky but they worked with what they were given. Once you walk in, you have to walk all the way to the back to order then come back to the front to pick it up all while the tables are up against your butt. The food always tastes great and is consistent. (the "club on a sub" is my favorite meat log) The staff is friendly and accommodation to any special requests. (like substituting yellow mustard for honey mustard and adding Italian seasoning to the tasty "club on a sub") There is one of them fancy coke machines that allow you to combine outrageous flavor profiles. (my personal crazy drink is 3/4 coke zero + 1/4 lime coke zero.... Put the lime in the coke you nut!) Before you leave, ring that bell to let them know you were satisfied! And don't forget the pickle!

I'll start with their food is amazing, but after ordering online for my first time and seeing nothing on the order page saying that you need to check with the register before you pick up your food I'm very disappointed. The person that I parked next to was double parked so when I got inside I spent the better part of my visit looking out the window to make sure I didn't get hit with their door or something inserted through my open window. I noticed that the staff were greeting people but I was never greeted. I had a name tag on for work, the same name as the order, and not once did anyone tell me that my food was ready or that I needed to talk to the register. I stood there for a half hour before I asked if my food was done; I guess this is my own fault but between worrying about my car and trying to make it back to work on time I didn't consider needing to talk to someone at a register. Why take my credit card online and not let me pay in store if I still need to talk to someone? I understand it's one thing to need to go inside to pick up my food, I get it, you're not applebees, but it's another to expect someone to know your procedure when it isn't listed somewhere obvious on your website. I guess now I know. Luckily subway is closer, though I'd have to settle for second best....

I really love Firehouse Subs and was in Greensburg to visit family; so I figured I would stop by. I wasn't sure what to order, so I asked the gentleman to give me just a few minutes. He said that was fine and walked back to continue working. I was then ready and it looked like the manager came out from the back and he came over to the register to take my order.

I know I am just ordering a sub and I'm not expecting cartwheels or anything, but I also don't expect the manager to be rude to a customer when I did or said nothing wrong. So I start to order and he says "what veggies would you not like on the sub?" I replied no tomato. He then states my total. I then say I would like to get that without mayo or ranch if that's possible. He replies "why didn't you say that when I asked?" I replied with "because you asked me what veggies, so I wasn't aware I should tell you then." He rolled his eyes, took my money, gave me my change and walked away from the register and went into the back again.

To top it off they added ranch to my sandwich and I couldn't eat it anyways. It was such a disappointment, considering I have been to a few others and never had any...
