Two things: one, please stop writing on your cups with Sharpies. When customer go to take a drink, all they can smell is the Sharpie. Two, I don't know why this location has such difficulty with making drinks, but they are rarely made correctly. Most recently, I got a caramel macchiato, which is typically a sweet drink, but there was only the faintest hint of caramel, like maybe they touched the bottle of caramel to the cup and a little drip got on the rim. It was so bitter, no caramel. And of course I'm a ways down the road before it's cool enough to even taste. The only time I ever go to this location is while we're out and about in this part of Hempfield and my husband doesn't want to drive to the infinitely better Greengate or Latrobe locations where they know how to make the menu drinks. Why doesn't this location know their basic drinks? Twice my drink tasted like a chemical cleaner so badly I threw it out. Even my husband tasted it to make sure it wasn't just me and he said, "Don't drink that." Please get someone from corporate to come retrain...
Read moreI have really mixed reviews of this particular store. It really depends on who serves you. I have had a different person just about every time, most if them rude and unpleasant. There have been a few really nice awesome people and I wish I would have got there names. The gentleman making the coffee in the mornings is really good and seems super nice. I really wish the girl would not have argued with me this morning. It ruined my whole morning. I was a cashier before I know how it works. When I tell you that my card will swipe the first time. Dont make me insert my useless chip 100x just to have it decline. I USE MY CARD EVERY DAY, I KNOW HOW IT WORKS. You literally just wasted my time this morning. Why argue something so stupid? I could write a different review every time I come here. Why cant Starbucks train their staff ALL to be polite and friendly.. instead they let them treat customers...
Read moreIt’s as though this Starbucks location has somehow colluded with the nearby MedExpress to provide some of the slowest service imaginable. During one of my last visits (to Starbucks), they claimed that the service was slow because there was an escaped felon in the area. I attempted to fathom why they thought it was a good idea to slow down the service, thus trapping us in their inescapable concrete drive-through, but I thought better of asking that question to people who couldn’t seem to take less than 5-10 minutes to pour regular cream into plain Pike Place coffee. During my last four visits, I could have driven to the Starbucks in Latrobe, gotten my coffee, and passed back by the Starbucks in Greensburg, in about the same time as it took me to get my coffee at that location. Today’s visit will be my last for a while. If you like Starbucks, go to...
