McDonald's — Restaurant in Hempfield Township

Original: I concur with the viewer below me Wanda, saying "what happened to this location"? This McDonald's used to be really good but something changed in the past 2 months. I don't think they're as a clean of environment as they used to be. The ketchup tastes like it's been contaminated with the barbecue sauce. I can walk in on opening at 6:00 a.m. and the floors are sticky and you can see hand smears and fingerprints on the menus. The burgers and fries taste like there's old grease on them from the day before or they don't rinse the tools all day. The other night I went in 27th Sept and they didn't have trays to give to the customers (because they didn't want to wash them?) nothing was given to me as an apology no extra patty my burger, The woman didn't even make eye contact with me as she told me. Clearly they just didn't want to clean them and were leaving them for the day crew it was 10pm last Saturday. The time before, the person that served me my food had just had their hands on the mop without gloves, 30 seconds later grabs my food, and then they brought me my food 30 minutes after I ordered and apologized and again didn't give me any type of compensation no extra patty on my burger no ice cream nothing. If you guys don't care anymore that's fine but shut down the restaurant or be willing to pay a competent manager to make sure the employees do their jobs! Sheetz down the street now has better burgers and they're open for way...

All around this is the WORST McDonald’s you can come to. For reference I lived in McKeesport and used to go to the Olympia one and that wasn’t even as bad as this one! Do not go here, they advertise they’re open until 1am, let’s start there, the woman on duty ( nightshift) take smoke breaks all night long, when I come they’re always outside, I have asked 4 times now why are they advertising they’re open until 1am and they’re not. They lie and say they’re closing early. BS. I called the manager on duty the following day and magically she said they close at 1am they don’t close early. Which I already knew. So I go again tonight and boom they’re literally walking outside as I arrive with packs of cigarettes in hand. Now They’re closed at 11pm but they’re sitting outside smoking no lights off or anything. Okay. Lazy During normal times around 1-5pm they have poor quality food, the frys are cold and hard, the chicken nuggets are stale. I rarely go here. But when I do it’s because I go to Marshalls near by and my son asks to go get a happy meal. I have tossed 2 happy meals due to the nasty slate food. horrible lady working overnight took the over mile walk to this store last night / this morning. the lady wouldnt sell me a cheeseburger. said i needed a car haha. anyway she did state the mcdonalds policy and instead of pointing how silly she was being i said ok and walked home with no cheeseburger. i stood way behind any car at the window and if someone pulled up i got out of line to not mess these people up. (looking back wish i would have caused chaos) the lady might be a good employee, but just an ugly person on the inside. if a man is walking in that part of town at that time, remember you are the only place that has food to serve along my whole walk. i hope this store gets people that just care about others, instead of people repeating policy with no heart. look in the videos you got all over that store, i was nothing but polite. maybe make a heart policy that over rides a policy that makes your employees look coldhearted. oh you need to work on those drivethru times overnight, felt like a long time waiting on each car. im such a failure i cant even get a cheeseburger when i walk to mcdonalds hahahaha so take my review with some salt if they will give you...
