Came in to audit this location and their service today. I've lived in the area of this location for over 12+ years now in Henderson and have previously ate at this Einstein bagels intermittently throughout the years, and safe to say its never had a good reputation so I had high hopes for today.
I entered this location about 1PM just 1 hour until their 2PM closing and they are cleaning like crazy to be done with their day on time, this is normal and fine. Sometimes in the past this seemed to have impacted the speed of service even with 1-2 customers waiting on simple orders observed like "A bagel with cream cheese" and nothing else. I entered as a simple order as well a hungry patron looking to get only a bagel with cream cheese and a coffee to go real fast for a quick bite.
The cashier I worked with was young and seemed new to this location maybe, however, he accurately entered my order for the bagel only. When asking for a regular coffee he confirmed that they did not have any (hot) coffee so I asked can we do an Iced one instead? He said yes. Not sure if it was on purpose or if it was a mistake but he rung me up in addition to my bagel a Large Iced Latte for $4.89 which came in a cup smaller then most other large iced coffees would at competitors so I received less value and overcharged for something I did not buy. As he was making this selection I told him I only want an iced coffee so he confirmed with his coworker the transaction and the charge seen on his register and she told him "its fine just use that" in a hurry as she was making my "Black iced coffee" that I actually told them clearly multiple times I wanted with cream and sugar.
I carried on and paid the order as is even though the receipt was inaccurate and overcharged.
At the counter I took a photo of the receipt and the coffee I received then added cream / sugar from their self service options. The creamer labeled "half and half" had a dirty nozzle unmaintained with dried up old creamer on it.
I left in disgust and did not argue with anyone in the store as I knew it would likely not go anywhere as this location has not shown signs of improvement.
As I was leaving I called the store and asked the person that answered the phone if there was a corporate hotline or form for filing a complaint. She let me know how "not really but you can go to our website and there should be an email at the bottom you can send to" I have to add though she was very polite sounding and professional. Later in the call after speaking with her learned she was the Manager named "Mary" who offered to assist me further on my next visit and that this inconvenience was cause by the registers at their location having a lack of an Iced Coffee button to charge customers with and the employee should have just added it as a hot coffee.
I will hold off on coming back here for a while to try again...
Read moreI love Einstein Bagels and have frequented various locations around Vegas for over 20 years. Sadly, today will be our last visit to this location. After several incorrect orders (everything from wrong cream cheese to two bottoms on my bagel to missing items), I finally decided to email the company a few months ago. The managers reached out to me and tried to make it right. Since then, unfortunately, things have only slightly improved. I visit every single Sunday and my order is almost always the same and yet they always toast the wrong bagels, forget ingredients on my sandwich and/or forget my side (potato salad) and pickle or leave out an entire bagel. Today, I once again had to ask for my potato salad, didn't even bother to ask for my pickle because it makes me feel like a nag. As the employee handed me the potato salad, she said "and your extra jalapenos are on the jalapeno bagels" (something I always order but don't always get); I considered letting her know that unfortunately they had toasted them which I didnt want and failed to toast my everything bagel which I did ask for (and all of that was noted on the screen above the food making area-I checked) but she had already turned to walk away. In my car, I ate my sad Veg Out sandwich, which was not toasted like I ordered and missing the cucumbers and the arugula (it only contained one unripe yellow tomato which I removed, two red onions and some spinach and the cream cheese/hummus). I told my son sorry about The toasted jalapeno bagels but that I just couldn't complain again...I hate having to complain. Some of the employees look at me with no smile when I enter and I think they think I'm an annoying customer just because I want my order made correctly. The lady manager has been kind and always reminds the employees to make sure my order is right...but it usually still isn't. Idk, I'm starting to think maybe it's on purpose at this point :( so we will have to find another Sunday morning...
Read moreFirst time at an Einstein Bros. Bagels = Last time at an Einstein Bros. Bagels. While I ordered a bacon and cheddar bagel meal, I also asked if I could get an iced mocha with it … she asked what size and I said small. My total was $12.38. You pay at a separate kiosk and they don’t give you a receipt. I went to register#2 (5 ft. away) and paid. They also shame you into giving a tip without the benefit of actually getting your order yet. I despise this practice on soooo many levels. Anyway… they called my name and gave me my bagel, sans, hash brown or mocha. When I brought it up to a person at the counter, it was as if I’d stolen something and they again shamed me, in front of all the other customers and workers, for not ordering correctly. Since I did not have a receipt because it wasn’t given to me, I could not bring up nor see what I had actually paid for the $12 plus change was for a bagel and the drink which I had not gotten yet she didn’t explain to me like a child That they had given me two dollars off for some reason at the register so I only paid $10 and something plus I had to give a tip for the bagel and a drink which I still hadn’t gotten yet and was not offered. She said that she would get me the drink, but just so I knew the hash brown did not come with because the meal was not ordered because that type of drink does not come with a meal. So when I got my (I watched her microwave it right in front of me) hash brown, she said that she threw in a fresh cookie just to make it right. But just so you know, I still haven’t received a drink so no, not everything was right so when I pointed that out, they were exasperated and said they would go ahead and get me the drink and they upgraded it to large for me. I added a picture of the mushy mess of a hash brown, btw. Worst breakfast and experience in awhile. Still no offered...
