Before I start with my review let me mention that I wanted to leave zero stars but I’m leaving a two stars for the two workers who were working at the counter. The line was extremely long, which can be attributed to how busy the store was. There were many people in-front of me getting frustrated and using foul language. The young black woman was somehow able to work her magic on the rowdy customers in line and by the end of the interaction she had her customers leaving with bright smiles the rest of us in a better mood from her upbeat energy. I was in line for ten minutes total but it was worth the wait because I was able to get the young woman with the good energy. I had a simple return to do but I happened to be over the return policy by a day or two. The young woman smiled and instead of rudely turning me away she mentioned that she would check in with her managers and that the worse they would say would be a no. She starts to call on her radio a few times and clearly there was no response she looked very apologetic but I told her it was fine and that I would shop around some more since I didn’t want to hold up the line considering that again there were only two workers. On my way to continue shopping I asked the young man at the end why didn’t he call for more people to help assist them, he gave me a defeated look as if this was something he was asked many times before and then pointed towards the area right in front of the sunglasses where there were people laughing and you could imagine my surprise when he told me that the tall black woman and shorter tan woman were his managers. The same managers who were wearing headsets but weren’t able to respond when they were being called earlier. We shared a look together and I asked him how he was able to work under those conditions and he shrugged and told me that he along with some other coworkers didn’t plan for staying long. I didn’t blame him and walked off to continue my shopping. Once I was done and made it up to line again I was able to get the young woman once more and I noticed that she was up there by herself taking care of the line of seven or more customers. The same people were standing together in the same spot laughing. I commended the young woman on her work ethic and she brushed me off laughing saying she was just doing her job. She then asked me if I wanted to process my return since she could call a manager that would available right now. I merely shook my head and told her a simple no thank you. I don’t think I would be able to maintain my composure with either one of them and the last thing I would want would be for them to somehow take it out on the young woman since they look the type. I’ve managed numerous businesses and never once have I encountered blatant laziness and disregard towards not only the customers but their employees. The young woman was very sweet and I could tell she picked up on my irritation. From there she made a point to be even kinder to me and told me to have a blessed day after my transaction. I admit I did offer her a job at one of my store locations because I haven’t experienced service like that in many years. She waved me off with a smile and told me that people are always doing that to her. All and all, it was terrible experience for me and everyone in line that was made better thanks to the two workers. I will be returning again not because I want to shop but I would like to hire that...
Read moreI’ve been shopping at Nordstrom rack for years online and in person this particular store in Henderson Nevada off Stephanie I’ve been also shopping at for years. Last night was a very unfortunate experience. I was in shopping with my daughter and my granddaughter we had been shopping around the store for just about two hours we had a cart full of merchandise that we were getting ready to purchase. Shoes, more shoes, clothes and accessories also bedding (well over $300 worth) I was approached by an employee his name is Brett come to find out he is the store manager or so he said, he told me that I was not allowed to wear the mask that I was wearing in the store. My daughter and I and my granddaughter who is four years old all had the same style mask as well as some other customers who are shopping I noticed. He told me he was going to give me another mask to wear which was the generic blue paper mask that I am severely allergic to (which I informed him) he then stated that was the only mask he had to give me and I’m not allowed to wear the mask that I was wearing. The store policy on the outside says everyone must wear a mask to enter I was wearing a mask, my daughter was wearing a mask, my granddaughter was wearing a mask so therefore we were compliant. Brett was discriminating against us for no reason. I am severely allergic to the type of disposable masks they provide so therefore that is a disability and Brett broke HIPPA AND ADA laws. We left after wasting almost 2 hours of our time shopping without making a purchase. I will not set foot in that location ever again! Read moreI am a nordstrom rewards member since January and since then, I have been spending close to 1500 every month on Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack, every Sunday with my family. But just this Sunday, this location’s staffs rubbed me off the wrong way. Their watch section was open. Mind you, there was no sign that said a thing about not to touch anything in it or to ask assistance from staff, so we did check out the styles. And all of a sudden, this lady in black, big built woman with a horrible makeup comes running towards us as if we were stealing their stocks. Guys, I was wearing my iWatch that is by the way worth more than a $200 watch they have displayed then. The said lady speaks very loudly about having that shelf open and called the security. Made my family very uncomfortable, so I went and told that lady that it was already open. Her response was, “oh, it was never left open”. She shut me off, a loyal customer to their store for almost a year now.. so much about their “great customer service”. This lady even comes walking saying, “oh I’m gonna check on the video” (in a very unprofessional way..) The lady in black went back out from the back waving her hair like she really found something suspicious at us. Folks, we were closely watched since, the security and the old woman with gray hair. Wherever we were, they man us and thought that we would really steal their watch. We are of different race as they are and we felt like because we are asians, they deprived us with our rights in living in this free country.
